9 months later...

Draco wipes his tears right before I hand him our new baby.

"Hey, little guy." He says. "Welcome to the world."

My heart. I remember this exact feeling when Hiraeth was born.

"What should we name him?" He asks me.

I shrug. "It's your turn."

Our second baby and we haven't picked a name before hand. We never know until they're born.

"Sterling." He says, looking up at me. "I like Sterling."

It's perfect.

"I like Sterling too." I smile.

Draco kisses his forehead and hands him back to me. "Here, you should feed him before he gets cranky."

"You're right."

I slide my bra strap off of my shoulder and he knows what to do from there.

I gave birth at the manor again. I like doing it from home, it makes everything less stressful. I will say though, Sterling's birth was way more difficult than Hiraeth's. He really drained me, and I was in labor for seventeen hours.

Draco crawls in next to me on the bed. "I wanna say it."

"Go ahead."

"I did it first." He whispers.

I giggle, tickling Sterling's belly. "But he does it better."

"Hey!" Draco says.

"I can't say you do it better when he's actually getting fed from it."

"It's not my fault you've never offered me any of your breast milk." He says.

I turn to him. "Hey, you want some? I've got one open boob."

He thinks for a second. "You know what? Yeah."

He comes at me getting closer and closer to my boob.

"I was joking!" I laugh.

He pauses, then retreats, falling back onto the bed. "So was I."

I shake my head.

Draco and I look down at the little human we created together. "He's beautiful, just like you."

I smile and look at him, who is still admiring our baby. "I love him. I really love him." He says.

More tears run down his cheeks, which in turn makes me cry more too.

Here we are, both complete messes while i'm breastfeeding my newborn son. He couldn't be more calm.

"Good job, my darling." Draco says. "I'm so proud of you."

He kisses me and we admire Sterling some more.

Sterling... a name with meaning.
