Q&A # 8

I just want to take the time to reflect on when I agreed to begin this journey and embark on this adventure with you all. However, the story doesn't end here so please check out Naruto Shippuden Kakashi X Mina sequel for the story post time-skip. Shameless plug aside by popular demand I will update this story beyond the bonus chapters I previously imposed. Bonus chapter 2 will be out soon but for now let's get to the questions....

Question 1:

Now that Mina and Kakashi have gotten together will she become a housewife and fall into irrelevance?

I won't deny it from the beginning of the couple's first interaction them getting together seemed like the endgame however, Mina's left so much of impact there were a lot of contexts that I had to cover. Miss Hatake will still play a role over the course of the story but you're going to have to read the sequel to find out though it might not end the way you think.

Question 2:

Will the bonus chapters be standalone, or will these be adjacent from the Naruto anime filler?

Some aspects like the rest of the Konoha 11 being made at least chunin by the end of the time skip will go relative the same even Team Kurenai though they had to return to Konoha after a startling oversight on Jiraiya's part. However, I will cover certain characters in these bonus chapters and if they end up multiple parts, it would be considered a mini arc revolving around those characters.

Will you be uploading Kakashi X Mina on YouTube

  Maybe once I've completed the Shippuden portion I'll go back and post those videos without any voiceovers because finding voice actors is difficult lol.

Question 4:

What do you think of Sage mode; Specifically, Hashirama's Sage Mode compared to the Toad Sage or the Snake/Dragon Sage mode? If possible, could Tsunade and/or Sakura have learned the slug's version of Sage mode?

Well in the series/canon you have three distinct disciples that utilize nature energy thus Senjutsu (sage mode) The toads of Mount Myoboku, the Ryuchi Cave for the Snakes and Shikkotsu Forest for the slugs. So, by process of elimination Hashirama's Sage mode must be at the very least a special variant of the Slug Sage mode utilizing his legendary wood style and how it would allow to further entrance himself in nature.  Thus, it would be theoretically possible however, Tsunade spent roughly thirty years in her dark spiral after the Second Great Ninja War and the deaths of her brother and lover she lost her way as we all know. As for Sakura it took her most of the series' timeline and canon to master chakra control, her medical jutsu, and eventually unlock the 100 healings technique So she wouldn't have had the time to specifically focus on that training route

. If Tsunade had been ordered by Hiruzen to remain in Konoha to help her with her trauma and eventually gained a new resolve, then it would be a different story. For the sake of this story, Hashirama did learn his Sage mode from the slugs.

Question 5

Why so long between updates? I get that you split the story into multiple titles, but you do know that this platform will let you write up to 200 parts per story, right?

I appreciate the criticism though I honestly felt that the Final Valley and Naruto and Jiraiya's training trip would be a natural book end for this part of the story next to Kakashi finally making a move and our titular couple getting together. Not to mention this is more of a what if then a blatant fanfic so I'm trying to make as entertaining as it is realistic as possible. After all this is a what if so, we can't rely on canon too much

How will Mina's existence affect the post Shippuden novels, the blank period and eventually Boruto?
