'Commander! Commander Solaris-'

'Where did you hear that?'

'What, Solaris? I thought that was your name-'

'That is not my name, Ahsoka.'

'But Master Skywalker calls you that all the time-'

'Just call me Sol, please. The commander is getting too much, and don't ever listen to what Anakin calls me. Every name he gives me is wrong.'

'Okay. Sorry, Commander- I mean, Sol.'

In the halls of the Jedi Temple, Sol stood with Ahsoka after being flagged down by the loud Padawan. It had been a quiet morning, as most mornings were in the temple, until Ahsoka's call for the Jedi Knight filled the halls. Clones and Jedi that passed the two eyed the Padawan who had made a name for herself in the Order, but continued their day once their staring quotas had been filled. Ahsoka took no notice of them, and focused on the retelling of information that she had for Sol.

'I talked to Revan Shan,' Ahsoka said, changing her volume to low. 'It took a while to catch him since he's been on nonstop missions, but I finally asked about his family.'

'Oh, Force, Ahsoka, what did you tell him?' Sol groaned and put a hand to her forehead. 'If he tells the Council that you were asking, they could come looking for me with one ask of the archive keeper.'

'Don't worry, I made it sound like general conversation. I said that I had heard about Satele Shan when reading in the archives, so it didn't seem suspicious at all!'

Sol sighed at the sight of Ahsoka's wide smile and large eyes. She was grateful for all the effort Ahsoka had gone to about investigating the Shan name, but her methods weren't as undercover as Sol had hoped for. She had worked hard to ensure that only she and Ahsoka knew about the Force ghost's identity, including the telling of small white lies to Anakin.

When Sol was in the archives, she would say that she was in the city on a local mission. She would then hop into her speeder at the end of the day and wait for Anakin, who would drive them to Padme's apartment. They made sure to go into the city before they would drive off to the building to avoid being seen leaving the temple together every day, but even though their secret was exclusive to the two of them, Sol kept her own secret between Ahsoka and herself. She didn't like to tiptoe around Anakin, but she would tell him in due time. She needed to establish Satele Shan's place in the Order first before she would tell him about what she had learnt. This way, the secret was trackable.

'Revan said that he didn't know his family. He was born on Concordia, which is a moon of Mandalore, but he was brought to the Order very young. He doesn't know his family either, and he definitely hasn't heard about Satele Shan,' Ahsoka explained. Sol's shoulders sagged at the information from the Padawan, as it wasn't conclusive to anything Sol was investigating. Apart from his last name, this Revan seemed to be in the same situation with no idea as to who his family was nor their significance in the Jedi Order.

'Is it possible that his parents were Mandalorians?' Sol hoped she didn't sound mocking, but if she had, the tone flew over the top of Ahsoka's montrals.

'It's possible. But from where Satele Shan started and where Revan Shan is now, there's nothing else he knows about the name.'

Sol felt defeated. When Ahsoka realised that she knew someone with the Shan last name, Sol was hopeful for some new insight. But she was back where she was originally; with no recent connections to Satele's ghost, and with dreams that were vague and scarce.

'Ahsoka!'

Before Sol could solemnly thank the Togruta for her efforts, her name was called. The two women turned to face the hall, where two Jedi walked towards them. As they drew closer, Sol and Ahsoka were met with the faces of Obi-wan Kenobi, and who Sol realised by Ahsoka's familiarity with him, Revan Shan.
