Chancellor Palpatine was sat at his desk while he waited for the Jedi to arrive. He knew they were coming, but it was all a part of his plan. When Anakin found out that the Chancellor was the Sith Lord that the Jedi had been looking for, he knew that there would be a warrant out for his arrest. But if Palpatine knew anything about Anakin Skywalker, and his desire to save his lover, the Chancellor would not be facing a jury and judge today, or any day of his unnaturally long life.

'Ah, Master Windu,' Chancellor Palpatine greeted the four Jedi, with Windu at the forefront, who entered his office. 'I take it General Grievous has been destroyed then. I must say, you're here sooner than expected.'

'In the name of the Galactic Senate of the Republic, you are under arrest, Chancellor,' the Windu ignored the Chancellor's attempt to feign innocence. The leader of the Jedi Master team was unamused to be carrying out the arrest of the Republic's Chancellor after working for him for so long. He had no time for an interrogation and the war could have been over years ago if the Jedi knew that who was behind it. Mace Windu would take the matter into his own hands and would explain to the Jedi Council after the deed was done.

'Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?' Chancellor Palpatine lost the kind smile he wore in the presence of others. The front of the kind, elderly politician who advocated for the protection of Padme Amidala years prior was gone, and the evil, Sith Lord Palpatine was now facing the Jedi Council.

'The Senate will decide your fate,' Master Windu said as all four Masters ignited their lightsabers.

'I am the Senate!'

'Not yet!'

Chancellor Palpatine rose from his chair and glared up at the Jedi. The sight of their purple, green and blue blades disgusted him to the point of summoning his own weapon. With his lightsaber in hand, the hiss of its ignition was heard, and the crimson blade was revealed.

'It's treason, then...' Palpatine said lowly, before he leapt from his chair with his lightsaber raised.

Sol made her way through the temple halls. The evening was approaching, and it wouldn't be long until everyone retreated to their quarters. She tried to contact Revan through her commlink, but it was met with no reply. She tried to contact Obi-wan through R2, but there was no reply from him, either. If Obi-wan had slayed General Grievous like Sol had heard, then he could still be in battle with the droid army that the cyborg made sure to leave behind. But with Revan, Sol knew that his lack of answer was because of the man's habit of not wearing his wristlet on most days.

She felt a burst of relief in her chest when she spotted the black-haired Shan that she could call her cousin. They were yet to consider each other family, but Sol was sure that with time, the two would be proud to be known as blood-related cousins. Maybe when Sol left the Order and all the chaos that was brewing on Coruscant had fizzled away, she could call herself a Shan before she became a Skywalker.

'Revan!' she called, and he turned from his conversation with a Padawan. At her fast pace, Revan bid the young man farewell before he headed to meet Sol halfway.

'Sol, I heard about the attack! What are you doing at the temple?' Revan said once they stopped in front of each other. Sol's over robe had slipped off her shoulder at her attempt to walk at a fast pace and Revan caught sight of the bandages that peaked out.

'Oh, crik, Sol! Are you meant to be walking around?-'

'I need to get in contact with Satele.'

Revan blinked at the woman and did a cautious glance around the hallway. The Padawan he had been speaking to was growing smaller as his short form headed towards the training rooms nearby, and a handful of clones walked by in their duos and groups. At the unlikeliness of eavesdroppers, Revan looked back to Sol and noticed the seriousness on her face.
