Like the Moon

And like the moon,
We must go through,
The phases of emptiness,
To feel whole again.

In the darkness of the night,
The moon shines bright and clear,
It's a symbol of hope,
A beacon of light,
A guiding force in the abyss.

Both beautiful and mysterious,
The moon holds power over the seas,
It controls the tides,
And helps to create the sands of time.

In its various phases,
The moon reflects life's lessons,
Of growth, change, and evolution,
Lessons we all need to learn.

Like the moon's waxing and waning,
We face our own cycles,
One moment we're full, happy,
And in the next, we descend,
Into the abyss of darkness and despair.

In life, we go through phases,
The highs and lows, the happiness and pain,
But like the moon, we keep on moving,
Determined to find the light within.

Often, it's in the darkness,
That we find ourselves,
Nurturing the wounded parts of our soul,
And emerging a stronger, whole person.

Like the moon's new phase,
Where it sheds its old self,
We too must let go of what no longer serves us,
To grow and evolve into something new.

And just like the full moon,
We can shine our light,
And radiate goodness,
Kindness, and compassion,
To all those we meet.

For like the moon,
We too are a force of nature,
We too are a reflection of the divine,
And we too have the power to change the world,
One heartbeat at a time.

So let's embrace our own phases,
The ups and downs, the joys and sorrows,
For it's in the journey,
That we find our purpose,
And ultimately, our true selves.

And like the moon,
May we go through life,
With grace, humility, and awe,
For in the darkness of the night,
We can finally see,
The beauty of our own souls.

So let the moon be our guide,
Our light in the darkness,
A reminder that we too,
Can rise from the ashes,
And shine our light for all to see.

For we are like the moon,
A shining star in the universe,
A symbol of hope and strength,
And a reminder that even in our darkness,
We can still find our way home.
