Forever in Memories

Maybe forever was a word,
Meant for memories and not people.
A fleeting moment in time,
Captured and frozen in the mind.

How beautiful it is to hold,
The memories of the ones we've loved.
To cherish the moments that were,
And keep their essence forever.

It's the sound of their laughter,
The warmth of their embrace.
The gentle touch of their hand,
That lingers long after they're gone.

In memories, they remain,
Forever young and full of life.
Their smile still bright as ever,
Their voice echoing in the mind.

Sometimes it's hard to let go,
To say goodbye to those we love.
But we hold them close in memories,
And forever they'll live on.

Their spirit lives within us,
The love they gave still sustains.
And though they may be gone,
Their memory forever remains.

We may not see them anymore,
But they're never truly gone.
For as long as we remember,
They'll continue to live on.

Maybe forever is a word,
Meant for memories and not people.
But in those memories, we find comfort,
And forever they'll be treasured.
