Beauty In Our Flaws

No one is without flaws,
We all have our imperfections,
Some obvious, some hidden,
But they exist nonetheless.

We strive for perfection,
In everything we do,
But it is an unattainable goal,
A myth created by society.

We are bombarded with images,
Of what beauty and perfection should be,
Tall, slim, flawless skin,
But these standards are unattainable.

We compare ourselves,
And we always come up short,
Feeling like we are not good enough,
Like we are unworthy of love.

But the truth is,
Our flaws are what make us unique,
They shape us into the person we are,
And that person is worthy of love.

Our flaws are not something to be ashamed of,
They are not something to hide,
They are a part of who we are,
And they should be celebrated.

Our flaws are what make us human,
They bring depth and complexity,
To our personalities,
And they should be embraced.

We should celebrate ourselves,
As imperfectly perfect beings,
Each of us unique,
And each of us worthy of love.

We should look in the mirror,
And see our flaws as beautiful,
As a reminder that we are human,
And that is perfectly okay.

No one is without flaws,
But it is our flaws that make us complete,
They remind us that we are alive,
That we are here, living in this imperfect world.

So embrace your flaws,
Love them, accept them,
For they are a part of you,
And you are imperfectly perfect.
