To people who deserve goodbyes,
Those who walk all over us
And leave nothing but painful goodbyes.

Hoping they would change their ways,

Their words were always so sweet,

Leaving us feeling like dust.
They tore us apart,
Bit by bit, piece by piece,
And yet we still clung onto hope,
Praying for a moment that would bring us peace.
We tried to fix what was broken,
Thinking they were worth the fight,
But in the end, we realized
That it was never going to be right.
So now it's time to say goodbye,
To those who never had our best interest in mind,
To those who brought us nothing but pain,
Leaving our hearts feeling confined.
It's time to let go and move on,
To find the peace that we deserve,
To give ourselves the love and care,
And let the pain and hurt we've endured swerve.
