Can there be true love without any pain involved,
A love that’s free from hurt, and completely resolved?

Is it possible for a heart to feel just joy and light,
And never be broken by the trials of the night?

Some say that love should be pure and free,
Without any hardship or agony.

But is that really love, or just a fleeting romance,
A fairytale idea, a fleeting chance?

For true love is not just an easy road,
A feeling that fades, and quickly grows old.

It’s a journey that’s filled with highs and lows,
Where the heart often breaks, and the pain often grows.

But it’s through the pain, where true love is found,
A love that’s tested, and completely profound.

For when two hearts are tried, and tested by strife,
It’s then that true love emerges, and comes to life.

It’s a love that’s deep, and rooted in trust,
A love that’s seen, even when all seems lost.

And in the midst of the pain, true love grows,
A bond that’s unbreakable, that nobody knows.

It’s a love that’s patient, and always understands,
A love that forgives, and never demands.

It’s a love that’s real, and pure in its essence,
A love that’s felt, even in the darkest of presence.

So can there be true love without any pain,
A love that’s free from hurt, and always the same?

Perhaps it’s possible, for some it may be true,
But for most of us, love is painful, it’s nothing new.

And yet, we still search for love, we still try,
To find that perfect love, that never will die.

For we know that love is worth all the pain,
A love just the same, where nothing will wane.

It’s a love that’s timeless, and forever true,
A love that’s unbreakable, that always will renew.

So when we ask the question, can love be without pain,
We may never know for sure, but one thing will remain.

That true love is worth all the hurt and strife,
A love that’s tested, and lasts for all of life.
