[VOL 4] Something Struck

Frank got up from his bed in the medbay.
Mike: How you feeling?
Frank: Good. Where's the others?
Mike: Helping rebuild a town from an attack of a huge ass wolf.
Frank: Soooo, Olivia isn't here?
Mike: No, she's off finding injured people and bringing them to the hospital.
Frank: So what are you doing here?
Mike: I'm just here. I'm not really of any use to the people.
Frank: Well when Olivia is done can you tell her I'm ok?
Mike: Of course my friend. I'll tell her... Hey do you like her?
Frank: Miiiiiike.
Mike: I was just-
A thunder bolt then came flying by Mike's head.
Mike: ... I'll stop.
Mike then closes the door.
Mike: Good to know that he's still the same Frank.
Then on comms.
Olivia: Alright I found all the injured "boss", what's next.
Mike: Next, you come visit Frank. He just-
Then Olivia came into the jet.
Mike: -woke up.
Olivia: Where is he?
Mike: Where we last left him, in the medbay.
Olivia then went into the medbay and sat down next to Frank. Mike smiled, then got another call came in.
Jayden: Hey Mike, I uh need to ask you something in person.
Mike: Sure sure. I'll be out there in a few.
Mike then went to the back of the jet and a RejectPod appeared.
Mike: Thanks old friend.
Mike then sped off towards Jayden's position.

Mike pulled up right next to Jayden.
Mike: Hey, what's up?
Jayden: Do... You know where a ring shop is?
Mike: Why do you... Oh. My. God. You're doing it aren't you?
Jayden: Ummmm I think I know what you mean.
Mike: You're proposing.
Jayden: I mean 4 years of dating will do that to ya.
Mike: Alright alright, I'll help yeah find that ring store.
Jayden: And thanks for wearing normal clothing.
Mike: You're welcome buddy.

(at a ring store)

Mike: Hey, do you think this is the one?
Mike points at a regular ring with a regular diamond.
Jayden: I want it to be more special then something normal.
Mike: Alright who's more special, the ring or Jess?
Jayden: Jess, of course!
Mike: Then you don't need a special ring. Besides I know she wouldn't care if you bought her a big gem, just that you bought a ring.
Jayden: Alright.
Jayden buys the ring and he and Mike leaves the building.
Mike: So when are you gonna pop the question?
Jayden: Tonight.
