luna gazed at the sliced strawberry cake before her, imagining how sweet and delicious it would taste. she turned to her boyfriend, mun, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"i want that!" she exclaimed in a tone that mingled the excitement of a child with the eagerness she felt.

mun found luna's excitement to be utterly adorable. he chuckled and nodded. "of course. you love strawberries, so i wanted to bring you here."

luna beamed brightly, her eyes glowing with happiness.

"strawberries are my comfort," she said, her voice filled with warmth. she turned back to the cake and took a deep breath, savoring the scent of strawberries.

as mun talked to the lady behind the counter and paid for the cake, he couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and grief in the restaurant.

he know that luna had been through so much eversince cheoljung's death, and he wanted nothing more than to make her forget all of that for a few hours, or even a day, and make her happy.

despite the heaviness in his heart, he couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and contentment as he watched luna eat the cake, her face radiating happiness and contentment.

he knew that in that moment, everything was okay, and he would do anything to make her happy.

"they were funding the campaign illegally. clearly, the money went to shin myeonghwi." motak explained, as he passes the documents that he got from Han-ul, who was in jeongyeong's team.

luna moved closer to mun and caught a glimpse of the numbers on the paper that mun was holding.

"five billion won?"

"my goodness." ms chu gasped. "so they killed her just because she found out about the ilicit funds? just like they killed mun's father seven years ago?"

luna furrowed her brows and eyes were on mun, whom stood up, as he spoke, "but this time, it's different. my dad's case was seven years ago, whereas this has only just began. we can use this to take them down."

"not if we use the same method," said hana and their gaze turned to her. "the memories won't be considered evidence, and they'll destroy all solid evidence."

luna looked at her boyfriend who was annoyed as he put the papers on the table and placed his hands on his hips.

"they made people believe that the burnt corpse is ji cheongsin's, and no one even remembers that mountain of garbage anymore." hana added. "they keep killing officers on the case."

"then what should we do with these bastards?" ms chu questioned, frustrated.

"let's do things their way."

"they think ji cheongsin burned us to death. we'll move quietly as if we're actually dead. these five billion won — let's steal it." hana explained and they were still puzzled by mean of stealing it except luna, who was liking the idea.
