Thomas is watching a Boot Pig video in the computer room when Muscle Man comes in with laundry. "Hey, Thomas!" Muscle Man said. "Hey, Muscle Man. What's up?" Thomas asked. Muscle Man throws laundry on Thomas. "Make yourself useful by taking my clothes to the dry cleaners. And no starch this time. It wreaks havoc on my pepperonis." He said. "Oh. Sorry." Thomas said. "Don't be sorry, be aware!" Muscle Man scolded, and Thomas glares at him. "Okay. Thanks, Muscle Man." Thomas walks into the hall.
"Aw, man..." he picks up a piece of underwear when he hears Skips in the other room. "So you wanted to talk to me about Thomas?" Thomas begins listening through the door. "Yeah. Well, don't get me wrong, Thomas is a good kid. But, man, I've been spending so much time on this internship program!" Benson said. "Oh, yeah." Skips said.
"I think we're gonna have to let Thomas go." Benson said. "That's a shame. And (Y/n) might be pretty upset, but I can see where you're coming from." Skips said, and Benson sighs. "I know. I kinda had a feeling (Y/n) wouldn't be too happy about me firing him, they've gotten pretty close recently and I'd hate to ruin that for her, and she's the only reason I've held off on firing him, but the last thing this park needs is another worker standing around doing nothing all day.
That's already Mordecai and Rigby's job, am I right? Sometimes (Y/n)'s too." Benson said. "Yeah, I heard that." Skips sips his coffee. "Speaking of which, have you seen her at all today?" Benson asked, and Skips raises an eyebrow. "You haven't seen her yet today?" He asked, and he shakes his head. "No, not really. Rigby told me he came into her room earlier to see if she had just been oversleeping but told me that she wasn't there." Benson said. "Has he checked the rest of the house?" Skips asked. "Yeah, he said he and Mordecai even checked outside." Benson said. "That isn't good, (Y/n) isn't the type to just disappear without any news." Skips said. "It is rather troubling. I'll ask everyone to look for her. After I give Thomas the bad news." Benson said.
This worried Thomas. 'Nobody's seen (Y/n) yet today? I hope she's okay.' He thought to himself. Thomas takes his phone out. "Mom, Benson says he's gonna fire me if I can't make myself useful! I may never see (Y/n) again! What should I-" Benson walks out of the room. "Okay, I'll try." Thomas turns to Benson. "Hey, Benson! How's it going?" He asked. "Not great, actually." Benson said.
"Well, glad to hear it! As for me, I was just going over all the duties I fulfilled at the park today." Thomas said. "Which duties, exactly?" Benson asked. "Well, for instance, Oh, uh, I put sawdust on the barf around the perimeter of the merry-go-round? And, umm... Stuff like that! You know, duties! You agree that stuff's important, right? You don't want barf in your park, do you?" Thomas asked. "Of course not. I'm extremely anti-barf." Benson said awkwardly, then removes Thomas' hands from his shoulders. "Still, Thomas, I have some-" Benson said. "Bad news! Benson, come in!" Mordecai said. "This better be important. I'm in the middle of something." Benson said. "It's the statue! It's gone!" Mordecai said.
"What??" Benson asked. Benson and Thomas join the others outside, and Benson slams the clipboard on the ground. "Ugh! I can't believe Gene did it again!" He shouted angrily, then face palms with a sigh. "Well, this explains (Y/n)'s disappearance." Benson said. "Wait, who's Gene? And what do you mean?" Thomas asked. "Gene's the prank obsessed manager from our rival park.
Every year, he and his goons steal the statue of Curtis Montgomery, and we have to go recover it. Not only that, but they also try to steal (Y/n)." Skips said. "So he and his goons have always been targeting her." Benson said, and Thomas' eyes widen. "Wait, what?! The statue is one thing, but (Y/n) is another, that's kidnapping." Thomas said. "We know that, Thomas!" Rigby shouted angrily. "What would Gene want with her anyway?" Thomas asked, and Benson sighs. "I don't know, Thomas.
But he's always wanted (Y/n) as a member of his park and has always been trying to convert her to their side." Benson said. "There has to be a reason though." Thomas said. "Well yeah, that much is obvious, Thomas." Rigby snapped. "No, I mean... has Gene ever told you guys why he wants (Y/n)?" Thomas asked. "No." Benson shakes his head. "He's refused to share that information with us." He said. "I never understood that to be honest, why does he want her so badly?"
