Intro: I had to write my 90th poem XD. It just bugged me to see 89 on the post.
Tone: Curious
Top it off
What can you do?
Test your luck
Write it out
The way you do
Feel your heart and its beat
Every word
You speak
Is a way to say
What you can do
"What can you do?"
I ask again.
I do not know my friend.
I try to sing
I try to speak
But to me I feel blank
"My friend, my friend.
You do more than just 'rant'.
You speak words of truth
You speak words from the heart."
"And that is good for one who wants to speak,
out the way they feel when they try to think,
the way they do."
I tilt my head and ask again, "My friend, why do you keep up with me?"
"Why, I am your friend. That is why." My friend says.
"But that is not the only 'why'."
A smile meets my friend's lips and they take out a poem,
in which, comes from me.
Long, long ago.
The poem comes back to me as they read.
And when they come to the end
I smile.
"You are great.
You are a friend that I am proud to have.
You do what you can with what you will
and that much said can tell you how
we are friends
and for a while I plan
To keep it this way."
I give a grin and say back, "And so do ol' pal."
Conclusion: I did it! I wrote a poem with only one syllable words. Lol this is really difficult for me considering that I use more than one syllable for almost everything that I say XD. Well, mission accomplished.
