I start this day new.
That's the way I want things to be
To be able to start over
The wish that comes across ones mind at least once
When a mistake is made
One thinks of how they could have done different
Others think of how the action changed their future
The rerun
They watch
They wish
Yet stare in regret
I wish I could start over
The thought crosses their mind
"Then where would you be now?"
In a better place... The person whispers
"Would you like to explain this better place?"
I don't know. The person says
I just know it'd be better than here...
Any place it better than here.
"Then how would you start over?"
A smirk meets their lips.
I could end it here.
"And you would go?"
away... The person mutters
The flash of pepole who care flash wihin their minds
And where will they go?
They won't have to worry anymore! One exclaims
"They will cry. They will become hurt. They will want to start over."
Standing up, the person looks up and out of the darkness.
"To start over... Where would that get me?"
Closing their eyes they step into their mind and rethink.
Maybe there's something more.
