"Right then, here we are!" The Doctor exclaimed ushering the twins to the door. The Doctor and Rory thought maybe it would be fun if they all went to Rio. The Doctor opened the door and Amy and Lexi poked their heads out but were met with something far from what they were expecting. "Rio!"

"Nuh-uh." The twins stated as they stepped out of the TARDIS, The Doctor and Rory following behind. For some reason they were in a cemetery.

"Not really getting the sunshine carnival vibe." Rory informed.

"No." The Doctor walked forward ahead of everyone. "Ooh, feel that, though, what's that?" He started to bounce in place. "Ground feels strange,.. Just me. Wait... That's weird."

"What's weird?" Lexi asked.

"Doctor, stop trying to distract us. We're in the wrong place." Amy continued talking as The Doctor ran to the other side of the nearby church. Everyone ran after him. "Doctor, it's freezing and we've dressed for Rio. We are not stopping here." The Doctor plucked some grass. "Doctor! You listening to me? It's a graveyard! You promised us a beach."

"Blue grass. Patches of it all around the graveyard," Amy, Lexi and Rory walked up to him. "So, Earth, 2020-ish, ten years in your future, wrong continent for Rio, I'll admit, but it's not a massive overshoot."

"Hey, guys, look." Lexi said pointing at two people on the other side of the valley waving at them.

"Why are those people waving at us?" Amy asked squinting eyes to try and see.

"Can't be." The Doctor stated disbelievingly. Rory started to wave back, but Amy stopped him. The Doctor took out some binoculars and looked through them. "It's you two." He gestured at Amy and Rory. Lexi titled her head as if thinking critically about something.

"No, we're here. How can we be up there?!" Rory asked confused,

"Ten years in your future. Come to relive past glories, I'd imagine. Humans, you're so nostalgic."

"We're still together in ten years?" Amy asked kind of amazed.

"No need to sound so surprised!" Rory defended.

"Hey, let's go talk to them! We can say hi to Future Us! How cool is that?" Amy took Rory by the arm and started to head off.

"No, best not, really best not. These things get complicated very quickly, and... oh, look!" Off in the distance, The Doctor pointed at a tall structure that looked be part of a mining plant. "Big mining thing. Oh, I love a big mining thing. See, way better than Rio! Rio doesn't have a big mining thing."

"We're not going to have a look, are we?" Amy asked worriedly.

"Let's go and have a look! What do you say, Lexi? You're awfully quiet." The Doctor asked walking over to her. As she stared at the other two people who were still on the hill. "Lexi?"

"What?... Oh, um... Sorry. I was just thinking that if Amy and Rory are over there in ten years, I wonder why I am not there too."

"Not sure, but come on, let's go and see what they're doing with the big mining thing." The Doctor grabbed her hand and they started to walk down into the valley leaving Amy and Rory behind.

"If he can't get us to Rio, how's he ever going to get us back home?" Rory asked Amy.

"Did you not see, over there? It all works out fine."
