Inside, Hospital, Hall, Night...
The Doctor, Lexi, Amy and Kate entered the hospital.
"How many deaths have been reported?" The Doctor asked as he held a hand over his chest.
"We don't know." Kate answered. "We think it could be a third of the population."
"How are you feeling?" Amy whispered to Lexi as they walked alongside each other.
"They're kicking. A lot. And it's really starting to get on my nerves." Was all that Lexi told her.
"Kate, I have to find the wormhole." The Doctor told her, thankfully not having heard the two sisters quiet talking. "But the attacks could still happen. Tell the world. Tell them how to deal with this. The world needs your leadership right now."
"I'll do my best."
"Yeah, of course you will. Good luck, Kate."
Kate nodded before then walking away.
"Ahh! Agh!" The Doctor groaned in pain, falling against a wall and making Amy and Lexi look over to him.
"Okay, how long are you gonna last with only one heart?" Amy asked, walking over to him and putting his arm around her shoulder to help him walk, Lexi not really being able to help much given she was dealing with her own slight pains that were starting to intensify.
"Not much longer." The Doctor told Amy, scanning with the sonic. "I need to locate the wormhole portal. Hello. Hello!" He exclaimed, turning towards a little girl. "Oh, hello." He walked over to the girl. "You are giving off some very strange signals."
"Oh, my God." Lexi's eyes widened when she saw the girl's face and eyes glow blue.
"Outlier droid monitoring everything. If I shut her down, I can..." He trailed off as he aimed the sonic at the girl's neck. "-- Ah. It's alright. It's alright." The girl swayed, making the Doctor try and gently lower her to the floor. "Amy, I can't, Amy!" The Doctor groaned in more pain, sliding to the floor. "I can't do it. I need both hearts. Ah! Ah!"
"We have to do something!" Lexi exclaimed before putting a hand to her stomach, biting her lip to keep herself from letting out a noise of discomfort.
"No time for that right this minute." Lexi thought to herself.
Amy looked around in desperation before spotting a defibrillator on the other side of the hall. She rushed over and grabbed it before quickly going back to the Doctor.
"All right, desperate measure." Amy grumbled, kneeling down on the floor, turning the device on.
"What?" The Doctor turned his head from where he laid on the floor. "No! No no no no. That won't work. I'm a Time Lord."
"Just shut up!" Lexi scolded him before Amy opened his shirt.
"All right, clear!" Amy exclaimed before applying the charge.
"Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!" The Doctor sat up quickly before standing, invigorated. "Welcome back, Lefty. Whoa-hoa! Two hearts." He grinned, doing a little dance, making Lexi raise an eyebrow in amusement. "Whoo!" He exclaimed, striking a 'Saturday Night Fever' pose. "Back in the game." He kissed Amy's forehead. "Never do that to me again."
He then spun around before walking further down the hall.
"You sure you want to follow us?" Amy questioned Lexi as they began following after the Doctor.
"Is that even a question?" Lexi retorted. "I don't care how pregnant I am. I won't subject myself, or the twins, to something I can't handle. Now come on."
