Outside, Wasteland of the Crimson Heart...

Clyde examined the device the Doctor had been working on as it made a continuous noise.

"Sounds like a countdown." He muttered before vanishing.

Corridor...

Clyde soon replaced where the Doctor had been, the Shansheeth stopping their attack in astonishment.

"But I was on a planet." Clyde stated, eyes wide.

"And he's left me." Lexi rolled her eyes.

"Never mind that." Sarah Jane shook her head. "Run!"

"Come on then, everyone!" Lexi exclaimed, sighing a bit before they all began running away from the giant vultures.

Outside, Wasteland of the Crimson Heart...

"Come on, come on." The Doctor muttered as he jiggled the device.

Corridor...

"Come on, faster!" Sarah Jane exclaimed, she and Lexi ushering everyone through a door.

"Come along, Smith and Pond." The Doctor said, suddenly taking up Clyde's place again as he rushed through the door, grabbing both women's hands and tugging them along with him.

Outside, Wasteland of the Crimson Heart...

"No, no, no!" Clyde exclaimed, shaking the device slightly. "Don't slow down. Take me back!"

Corridor...

"In, in, in!" The Doctor ordered as everyone burst into the dormitory as a woman dressed in a UNIT uniform walked towards them from the other end of the hallway.

"I'm sorry is there a problem?" She asked as the Doctor shut the door.

He quickly opened it back up. "Sorry, I was slamming it."

He then shut the door again, leaving the woman standing there.

Dormitory...

"Right." The Doctor said, turning around to look at everyone else. "Now we need to lock it. Come on, Sarah, use the sonic lipstick."

"Haven't you got the screwdriver?" She asked him.

"They took it." He answered.

"And the TARDIS." Lexi added, pacing a bit before glancing at the Doctor. "You know, you can just never ignore a battlefield, can you? Not that I blame you."

"They do sonic lipsticks now?" Jo asked, confused.

"Always gotta explore the uncertain." The Doctor told Lexi before glancing at Jo. "Yes, they do." He then looked around at everyone else. "We're running out of time." He then looked back and forth between Sarah Jane and Jo. "I need you, Sarah, and you, Jo."

"Need us for what?" Jo questioned.

"Remember the old days when we'd go zooming off to faraway worlds?" The Doctor asked, grinning as he took the two older women by the hands before vanishing.

Clyde stumbled back, looking a bit green. "I'm getting space sick."

Lexi stood there, mouth slightly agape at just being left behind.

"Okay." She huffed, turning around to face three kids. "Apparently it's Fend For Yourself Day. So, let's try not to get killed."

Outside, Wasteland of the Crimson Heart...

"No, no, no, no!" The Doctor shouted, running to the device that he had been using to transport himself back. "Let's get you working properly. Stop!"
