Spaceship...
Everyone woke up on the floor.
"Where are we?" Amy asked as Sky helped her up.
"We haven't moved." The Doctor answered. "We're in exactly the same place as before."
They all walked over to a window and could see the pirate ship.
"We're on a ghost ship." Avery said.
"No, it's definitely real." Sky told him. "It's a spaceship trapped in a temporal rift."
"How can two ships be in the same place?" Amy enquired.
"Not the same." The Doctor shook his head. "Two planes, two worlds, two cars parked in the same space. There are lots of different universes nested inside each other. Now and again they collide and you can step from one to the other."
"Okay..." Amy nodded slowly. "I think I understand."
"Good. 'Cause it's not like that at all. But if that helps."
"Thanks." Amy rolled her eyes.
"But think about it." Sky said, picking up a piece of metal from the floor and throwing it through the window, it passing through and landing on the deck of the ship. "All reflections have suddenly become gateways."
The Doctor looked at the window curiously. "Ever look in the mirror and think you're seeing a whole other world? Well, this time it isn't an allusion."
"The signal." Amy said as they all heard a low beeping before beginning to explore.
"Yes." The Doctor nodded.
"It's the distress call." Sky stated.
"Exactly." He agreed.
They all then climbed the stairs that lead to the rest of the ship.
"There was a second ship here all the time." Amy said as they could all faintly hear the Siren's voice.
"And the Siren is on board." The Doctor stated as he heard her beautiful voice. He then unlocked a door, letting it slide open to reveal the desiccated body of a pteradon-like alien.
Avery pulled out his gun, but Sky pushed it away. "It's dead."
The Doctor then walked past it, followed by Avery, Amy and Sky.
Inside, Spaceship, Bridge...
On the bridge, they saw another dead alien still at the controls. The Doctor walked up to it. The view from the observation window was that of Avery's cabin.
"You were right, there was something staring at us the whole time." Amy stated.
"How long has this ship even been marooned here?" Sky wondered, examining the controls.
"Long enough for the Captain to have run out of grog." Avery replied.
"I don't understand." Amy shook her head. "If this is the captain, then what's the Siren."
"Same as us." The Doctor answered. "A stowaway," He used the sonic to scan the body of the alien that sat at the controls.
"She killed it?" Amy questioned.
"Human bacteria." The Doctor stated as he checked the readings on the sonic.
"What?" Sky tilted his head.
"A virus, from our planet." He clarified. "Airborne, traveling through the portal." He then put the sonic back in his jacket. "That's what killed it." He told them, leaning on the panel. "Didn't get its jabs." He then lifted his hand to show it was covered in slime. "Urghhh! Look."
