Underhenge...

"There are cracks. Cracks in time." The Doctor stated. "There's going to be a huge explosion in the future, on one particular day. And every other moment in history is cracking around it."

"So how does that work? What kind of explosion? What exploded?"

The Doctor remembered talking with River in the forest of the Byzantium while looking at her communicator.

"...And for those of us who can't read the base code of the universe?"

"Amy and Lexi's time!"

"Doesn't matter." The Doctor said defiantly. "The cracks are everywhere. Get too close and you can fall right out of the universe."

"So I fell through a crack and now I was never born?"

"Basically."

"How did I end up here?"

"I don't know, you shouldn't have. What happened? From your point of view, what physically happened?"

"I was in the cave, with you, Amy and Lexi. I was dying and then I was just here, a Roman soldier. A proper Roman. Head full of Roman... stuff, a whole other life. Just here like I'd woken up from a dream. Started to think it was a dream. You, Amy, Lexi and Leadworth. Then today, in the camp, the men were talking about the visitors, the girls with the red hair. I thought you'd come back for me. But Amy can't even remember me!"

"No..." Lexi's voice resonated throughout the cavern. She stepped out from behind the Pandorica. "But I can."

"Lexi..." Rory said in disbelief.

"Hello, Rory." Lexi greeted with a smile and a few happy tears rolling down her cheeks. Rory and Lexi walked slowly towards each other. The Doctor looked on at them. As they embraced, Rory wrapped his arms around Lexi tight, not really believing that she could actually remember him. "Oh, God, I've missed you."

Rory pulled away and looked at her. "I've missed you too. But, how come you can remember me and not Amy?"

Lexi glanced at The Doctor then turned her head back to Rory. "I wish I knew. Now, Doctor?" Lexi held out her hand. The Doctor threw the ring box to her. "Go get her."

Rory looked down at the ring box. "But I don't understand." He looked over at The Doctor. "Why am I here?"

"Because you are." The Doctor replied. "The universe is big. It's vast and complicated and ridiculous, and sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles, and that's the theory. 900 years, never seen one yet. But this would do me. Now get upstairs, she's Amy and she's surrounded by Romans. I'm not sure history can take it."

Rory nodded and then headed topside. The Doctor continued examining the Pandorica. Lexi waited till Rory was gone before speaking.

"I don't really understand how I could possibly be effected differently than Amy."

"Wait!" The Doctor ran up to her and grabbed hold of her shoulders looking her directly in the eyes. "Say that again."

Lexi quirked an eyebrow. "I don't really understand how I could be affected differently than Amy?" Lexi repeated her previous words.

"Yes! Affected differently... than Amy..." The Doctor looked like he was trying to figure something out in his head.

"Doctor?... What are you getting at?" Lexi asked a tiny bit worried.

The Doctor took his hands away from her shoulders. He started pacing back and forth from the Pandorica to Lexi. He stopped when he got to the Pandorica and turned back around to look at Lexi. "You know time?"
