Inside, ???, Front hall...
Lexi, Amy and Rory had now found the front hall where there were discarded items scattered on the floor.
While Amy and Lexi began to look around, Rory went and headed for the front door.
"Oh, at last." He sighed in relief, but groaned when he noticed a necessary item was missing,
"What is it?" Lexi questioned, glancing back at him.
"No doorknob!" He exclaimed. "Wooden pans, a massive glass eye and now no doorknob!"
"And this clock." Amy pointed out.
"What?" Rory questioned, him and Lexi turning around to see Amy pointing at a 'clock' on the wall.
"Look - the hands, they're painted on." She said, touching the clock.
The trio then turned at the sound of a child's laugh.
Rory put a finger to his lips, telling the twins to be quiet as they began to walk to another door. Lexi stopped when she came upon a giant wooden fork, picking it up.
"I'm seriously getting horror film vibes right now." Lexi whispered, holding the big wooden fork out in a defensive manner.
Inside, Flat, Kitchen, Night...
The Doctor was searching the cabinets, Jupiter taking a cookie out of the cookie jar and eating it.
"You two are supposed to be professionals!" Alex exclaimed. "I'll never get him to sleep now!"
"Mm, chocolate chip." Jupiter commented, taking another bite as the Doctor found the teacups. "Not my favorite cookie. But they're a close second."
"It's so... irresponsible." Alex said, looking back and forth between the duo.
"No, Alex. Responsible. Very." The Doctor denied. "Cupboard bad. Cupboard not bare. Stay away from cupboard. And there's something else. Something I've missed. Something staring me in the face."
"Look, I'd like you both to leave, please." He told them. "You're just making things worse. Will you stop making tea!" He exclaimed, taking the cups away from the Doctor. "I want you to leave!"
"Nope." Jupiter said, popping the last bite of the cookie into her mouth.
The Doctor took the cups back from him. "No." He said before opening the fridge.
"What?" Alex questioned, surprised. "What do you mean 'no'?" He closed the fridge. "Leave! Get out!"
The Doctor just opened the fridge again.
Alex closed it right back. "Now, please! Look, maybe this was a bad idea. We should sort out George ourselves."
"Not a good idea." Jupiter said in a sing-song voice as she grabbed honey out of a cabinet so she could put it in the tea the Doctor was wanting to make.
"You can't." The Doctor agreed, opening the fridge before taking out milk and pouring it into the cups.
"No-one's going to tell us how to run our lives." Alex told him. "I don't care who you are or what wheels have been set in motion. We'll sort it!"
"We're not just professionals... I'm the Doctor." He said to him.
Jupiter tossed the little bottle of honey, smiling as Alex instinctively caught it. "And I'm Jupiter Pond."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Alex asked, shoving the little bottle of honey into the Doctor's hands.
"It means we've come a long way to get here, Alex. A very long way." The Doctor replied, squeezing a tiny bit of honey into each cup. "George sent a message. A distress call, if you like. Whatever's inside that cupboard is so terrible, so powerful that it amplified the fears of an ordinary little boy across all the barriers of Time and Space."
