Asylum of the Daleks [Part 6 - FINAL]

Inside, Asylum, Corridor...

The Doctor continued down the corridor. "Oswin? Hawthorne, I think I'm close."

Inside, Living quarters...

Oswin and Hawthorne popped their heads around a wall and headed back to their big chair.

"You are. Less than 20 feet away." Oswin informed him.

"Which is the good news..." Hawthorne trailed off.

Inside, Asylum, Corridor...

"Okay." The Doctor stared. "And the bad, which I suddenly feel is coming..."

"Well, first, you're about to pass through intensive care." Hawthorne informed him.

Inside, Living quarters...

"And the second?" The Doctor enquired.

"It doesn't look like you'll be doing it alone..." Hawthorne told him cautiously.

Inside, Asylum, Corridor...

"What are you talking about?" The Doctor asked.

"Doctor!" Lexi shouted, making the Doctor turn around to see her running down the corridor towards him.

"Lexi, what the hell are you doing?!" The Doctor exclaimed.

She came to a stop right in front of him, putting her hands on her knees as she caught her breath before standing back up straight. "I wasn't gonna let you do this alone. And plus, I couldn't stand to be in the same room with those two any longer."

"I... just... fine!" He relented, throwing his hands up in the air just as the door in front of him and Lexi slid open which then let them enter the room.

Inside, Asylum, Intensive care...

The Daleks were in individual cells – more like stalls – where some were chained in place.

"What's so special about this lot?" Lexi questioned.

"Dunno." Oswin's voice answered. "Survivors of particular wars. Spiridon. Kembel. Aridius. Vulcan. Exxilon. Ringing any bells?"

"All of them." The Doctor replied.

"Really?" Hawthorne's voice chimed in. "How?"

The Doctor walked forward until he was in front of a Dalek.

"These are the Daleks who survived me."

All the other Daleks were now slowly becoming aware of his presence. "Doc... tor... Doc... tor... Doc... tor... Doctor..."

Inside, Living quarters...

"That's weird." Oswin commented. "Those ones don't usually wake up for anything."

"What the hell is going on?" Hawthorne whispered as he typed on the keyboard.

Inside, Asylum, Intensive care...

"Yeah, well - the Doctor's a special visitor." Lexi commented as she walked to a door before scanning it with her sonic. "I'm just a tag-along."

The Doctor went to another door that was directly across from the one Lexi was standing in front of.
