Outside, New York City, Times Square, Day...

"What's River doing in a book?" Amy questioned as they crossed Broadway. "What's Rory doing in a book?"

"He went to get coffee." Lexi shrugged as she pushed the twins' stroller. "Do pay attention, sis."

"So Rory went to get coffee and then he turned up in a book." The Doctor thought out loud as he walked alongside Lexi. "How does that even work?"

Outside, New York City, East River...

"I don't know! It's New York!" Lexi rolled her eyes as she let the Doctor take over pushing the twins' stroller as they walked along the bank of the East River by the Brooklyn Bridge towards the TARDIS.

Inside, Car, Back seat, Night...

"What's going on?" Rory asked as he and River got into the car.

Inside, TARDIS, Twins' nursery...

"Okay, my sweetlings." Lexi cooed as she laid the twins down in their cribs. "What we're about to do isn't going to be the safest thing, but it's our only option."

She then took out her phone and typed out a message.

"Track this text and get here. Now. ~Mum"

Lexi then hit send and waited a moment before a certain two people popped up in the middle of the nursery.

"What's the problem?" Jupiter asked quickly.

"Yeah, your text seemed a bit... urgent." Sky agreed.

"Long story short, we're in New York and your uncle went to get coffee and turned up in a book with River. Now we have to get him." Lexi explained quickly. "Your father and aunt are waiting in the console room. So, let's make this quick. I need you two to watch... well, yourselves."

Sky and Jupiter's eyes widened when they glanced over into the cribs.

"It's very dangerous that we're here." Jupiter immediately said.

"Yeah, it is." Lexi agreed. "But we don't have any other options right now. So, to help avoid a paradox, and to try and make this as safe as possible; Sky, you're gonna look after baby Jupiter. And Jupiter, you're gonna look after baby Sky. It's not the best situation, and it's really dangerous for you two to be here with your infant selves, but it's all we've got."

"Okay..." Sky nodded slowly.

"The TARDIS will safeguard this room." Lexi explained as she looked at her infant children once more before looking back to her grown children. "She's a bit agitated that there are two of each of you here, but she also understands that it's the only option we have." She then walked towards the door of the nursery. "Just, whatever you do, do not leave this room. You've got everything you need in here. And besides, I don't really know how turbulent it will get outside of this nursery. Just, whatever you do, do not touch your younger selves. Sky, you only look after baby Jupiter. Jupiter, you only look after baby Sky. Do you both understand?"

"You can depend on us." Jupiter nodded.

"Good." Lexi said, opening the door before glancing back at them one last time. "Thank you."

Sky nodded before watching his mother close the door, the TARDIS locking it afterwords.

He then looked to his sister. "All of them are going to be so mad."

"I know." Jupiter sighed. "But you know what Mum and Dad told us right before we first started going into their past. We can't tell them. We only go where the stories told us we went. End of."
