The Rebel Flesh [Part 1]

A/N: Hello! :) I'm glad to see that y'all enjoyed the last episode. Please keep the comments coming, I love the feedback.

Anyway, time to continue!

And no guest appearances by anyone this time around. There won't be any guest stars again until "A Good Man Goes to War". And trust me, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT EPISODE! It's gonna be friggin' great! 😀 You don't have too much longer till we reach that point.

I will say that this episode should be quite interesting...sort of. Lexi figures out that the Doctor is hiding something, but doesn't let on. At least not until a certain moment.

Inside, TARDIS...

As Lexi walked down the corridor towards the console room she could hear Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole" playing over the speakers, it getting louder and louder as she got closer.

Once she got to the threshold of the entrance to the console room, she stopped and silently observed the three people that were there.

"46. Rubbishy rubbishy rubbish." Amy commented playfully as she and Rory played darts.

"Hello, it's a double top." Rory told her, walking up to the dartboard.

Lexi leaned against the threshold, chuckling softly at her sister and brother-in-law. She then let her gaze drift over to where her boyfriend stood by the console, looking at the screen of the monitor.

Lexi tilted her head in confusion, narrowing her eyes as she read what was on the screen.

Lexi's eyes widened a bit as she watched the results keep switching back-and-forth between positive and negative.

"What's going on, old girl?" Lexi whispered, gently rubbing the wall, receiving only a short hum in return.

"Who wants fish 'n' chips?" The Doctor asked, Lexi silently watching as he turned off the monitor.

"Two can play at that game, Doctor." Lexi thought to herself, pushing off the wall before fully entering the console room.

Rory raised his hand as he and Amy turned away from the dartboard.

"I'll drop you all off." The Doctor told them. "Take your time. Don't rush."

"Uh, and you?" Rory enquired.

"I have things to do, things involving...other things." He responded.

"Well, we'll stay with you." Amy told him as she and Rory joined him at the console. "We'll do the other things."

"Yeah." Lexi agreed, making her presence known as she walked down the stairs. "And I'd rather not be the third wheel with those two."
