Inside, Hotel, Stairwell...

The Doctor was looking at Howie's picture on the wall when Rory and Lexi joined him.

"Have either of you found your rooms yet?" He asked, not looking at either of them.

"No." Lexi said quietly as she leaned against the stair rail.

"Me either." Rory stated. "Is that good or bad?"

"Maybe you're not scared of anything." The Doctor offered.

"If only that was true." Lexi thought to herself as she looked down at the floor.

"Well, after all the time I spent with you in the TARDIS, what was left to be scared of?" Rory shrugged.

"You said that in the past tense." The Doctor noted.

"No, I didn't." Rory shook his head.

The Doctor leaned back against stair rail next to Lexi, putting his hand over hers and intertwining their fingers as they watched Rory look at the photo.

"You know, Howie had been in speech therapy." Rory stated. "He'd just got over this massive stammer." He informed them. "What an achievement. I mean, can you imagine? I'd forgotten, not all victories are about saving the universe..."

Inside, Hotel, Dining Room...

Howie was laid out next to Joe.

Inside, Hotel, Stairwell...

Any found a new home for the fish on a table by the base of the stairs. The Doctor and Lexi were holding hands, going down the stairs when they met Rita on her way up.

"Rita! Brilliant!" The Doctor smiled.

"How are you, Rita?" Lexi asked, smiling at her. "Not panicking, are you? 'Cause when people are around this guy," Lexi nodded to the Doctor. "that tends to happen."

"Oi!" The Doctor nudged her playfully before looking back at Rita. "Ignore that last comment because I am literally an otter's toenail away from getting us out of here."

"Why?" Rita questioned.

"Excellent question." The Doctor said, letting go of Lexi's and walking passed Rita. "Excellent question." He said again before turning back to face her. "Why what?"

"Why is it up to you to save us?" She asked him. "That's quite a God complex you have there."

"Don't go down that road." Lexi sighed before just walking past them to join Amy near the base of the stairs.

The Doctor watched as Lexi joined her sister, speaking to Rita as he continue to look at the twins. "I brought them here. They'd say it was their choice, but offer a child a suitcase full of sweets and they'll take it. Offer someone all of time and space and they'll take that, too. Which is why you shouldn't. Which is why grown-ups were invented." He stated before turning away.

"All of time and space, eh?" Rita raised in eyebrow in question, a slight smile on her face.

"Oh, yeah." The Doctor said as he swung back to face her. "And when we get out of this, I'll show you, too."

"I don't know what you're talking about." She told him. "But I have a feeling you just did it again."

The Doctor then noticed the security camera. "Right down to the smallest detail. Got you, Mr Minotaur."

He then ran down the stairs as Rita walked over and looked up at the camera. She tilted her head back and closed her eyes.

"Praise him."
