The Girl(s) Who Waited [Part 5 - FINAL]

Inside, Twostreams Facility, Gallery...

Like badasses, Now Amy and Now Lexi both lead the way through the door and used their swords and staffs on the handbots waiting on the other side.

Then Lexi, Then Amy and Rory all ran across the room along the outside, pushing down a couple of handbots along the way.

"Come on!" They shouted over to the Now Amy and Now Lexi.

"Go! We've got your back!" They shouted back at them.

Then Lexi, Then Amy and Rory went through the door, Then Amy screaming as she almost ran into a handbot.

"Do not be alarmed. This is a kindness."

Then Amy was suddenly confronted by a second handbot who touched her on the side of the face, making her fall to the floor.

"Amy!" Then Lexi shouted as she and Rory both forced the first handbot's hands together like she and Amy had done their first day. They then ran over to Then Amy.

"No!" Rory shouted.

With a yell, Rory ran and took the "Mona Lisa" and rammed it over the handbot's head, making it short out.

He then kneeled next to Then Lexi as they knelt beside Then Amy.

In the first room, Now Amy and Now Lexi continued to fight the handbots. They then came through the doors and watched as Rory carried Then Amy to the TARDIS as Then Lexi ran alongside them.

Inside, TARDIS...

Rory kicked the door open, the Doctor rushing to meet them.

Rory then laid Then Amy on the floor, the Doctor covering her with his jacket.

"Ah, it's just an anaesthetic. She'll be fine." The Doctor assured before turning to Then Lexi and wrapping her in a big hug and kissing her on top of her head before letting go of her and going to the door.

Inside, Twostreams Facility, Gallery...

The Doctor stood there and watched Now Lexi and Now Amy before they threw aside their staffs and swords and ran for the TARDIS.

"I'm sorry." He whispered to them before slamming the door just as they reached it.

Inside, TARDIS...

"What are you doing?" Rory and Lexi asked as they stood up from Amy's unconscious body.

"I lied to them, Rory, Lexi." He answered truthfully.

Now Lexi and Now Amy could be heard pounding on the door. "Doctor? Let us in!"

"There can't be two Lexis and Amys in the TARDIS." He informed. "The paradox is too massive."

"They'll die!" Rory shouted.

Inside, Twostreams Facility, Gallery...

Now Amy pounded on the door. "Doctor? Let us in!"

Inside, TARDIS...

"No, they'll never have existed. When we save our Lexi and Amy, this future won't have happened." The Doctor stated.

Rory motioned to the door. "But they happened! They're there!"

The Doctor closed his eyes. "No, they're not real."

"They are real." Lexi spoke up from where now sat by Amy's unconscious body, a tear or two escaping the corners of her eyes. "But as hard as it is to say, I know what you're getting at...And that makes me feel horrible."
