TV...
The Apprentice was on.
"I sent you out to sell as many cubes as you could in 24 hours and look at you, you've made a right hash of it, haven't you?" Lord Sugar said. "Well, Craig, you're fired."
Inside, Pond-Williams home, Lounge, Evening...
Amy and Rory were sitting on the couch while the Doctor and Lexi were sitting on the other one, Lexi's feet resting in the Doctor's lap as she was eating custard straight from the bowl while they all watched TV.
"You know..." The Doctor began through a mouthful of fish fingers and custard. "If I had a restaurant, this would be all I'd serve."
"Yeah, right." Amy laughed as she chewed on a bite of fish fingers and custard herself, her feet resting in Rory's lap. "You running a restaurant."
"I've run restaurants." He shrugged, dipping another fish finger into the bowl of custard that sat atop Lexi's 50 week pregnant belly.
"Yeah." Lexi added, eating another spoonful of custard. "Who do you think invented the Yorkshire pudding?"
Rory chuckled, glancing over at Lexi. "He didn't."
"Pudding, yet savory." The Doctor stated, smiling slightly. "Sound familiar?"
Inside, Brian's house, Parlor...
The cube on Brian's table vibrated, making him wake up.
Brian stared at the cube closely for a moment before dozing off again. The cube then spun, Brian just catching it before it stopped. He quickly reached forward to switch on the camera.
He grinned at the cube. "Do it again."
Outside, Pond-Williams home, Back garden...
"They're just so... peculiar." Amy stated quietly, her and Lexi sitting across from each other at the picnic table in the middle of the back garden as they eyed a lone cube that rested on top of the table in between them.
"Something just doesn't seem right about them." Lexi commented. "I mean, they don't make any sense. What's the point of them?"
"It is a mystery." Amy sighed in agreement. She then looked up from the cube to look at her sister. "I can't believe you and him have managed to stay here for the past month."
Lexi laughed, looking up from the cube.
"It's not me who has the problem with staying still. Life before the Doctor came back into our lives trained me well to be able have patience." She told Amy before smiling slightly. "Can I confess something to you?"
"Of course." Amy grinned, leaning forward a bit.
Lexi smiled, putting a hand to her stomach before whispering. "I think I've been feeling contractions."
"What?!" Amy exclaimed, shooting out of her seat.
"Ssh!" Lexi hissed, waving for her to be quiet. "They're not very painful at all. They're like tiny little cramps, and they don't come that often. I'll know if it's something to worry about. And besides, can't really do much until my water breaks. And who knows if it's even anything at all? I mean, I'm not actually due for another 2 weeks. So please, just don't say anything right now."
"Sorry, it's just..." Amy couldn't help but smile as she rounded the table to join her sister on the other side, sitting down next to her and putting a hand to her stomach. "I'm just really excited, that's all."
