A Good Man Goes to War [Part 1]

A/N: HELLO!!! 😄 First off, I would like to say that every single part of this episode is important! So, I would read all of them if I were you.

Anyway...

WE HAVE ARRIVED!!!

The long anticipated "A Good Man Goes to War" has finally come.  And it is a whopper!

Btw, a thought I had was that "Counting Stars" by OneRepublic would work as a good theme song for the Doctor, Lexi, Sky, Jupiter, Amy, Rory and River. (I've put the song at the top.)

Inside, Demon's Run, Nursery...

A small baby was cooing as it lied in a small crib.

The name on the side of the crib was:

Melody Pond

"I wish I could tell you that you'll be loved. That you'll be safe and cared for and protected." Amy spoke softly as she gently caressed the infant. "But this isn't a time for lies." She carefully picked up little Melody, cradling her in her arms. "What you are going to be, Melody. . .is very, very brave."

"Two minutes." The Eye-Patch lady warned as she and a number of armed soldiers stood behind Amy, a little distance between them.

Amy glanced over at them before looking back down at her daughter. "But not as brave as they'll have to be. Because there's someone coming. I don't know where he is, or what he's doing, but trust me. He's on his way."

20,000 Light Years Away
Inside, Cyber-ship, Corridors....

As Cybermen marched along a corridor, you could see a figure walk past in the shadows, a cloak billowing behind him. You could then see the sonic screwdriver used on a door lock, the door sliding closed and keeping out other Cybermen.

Inside, Cyber-ship, Control...

"Intruder. Level nine. Seal level nine." One Cyberman ordered as the ship rocked, small explosions going off.

Inside, Demon's Run, Nursery...

"There's a man who's never going to let us down." Amy told her daughter as she looked out a window, seeing a large army gathering outside. "And not even an army can get in the way."

The Eye-Patch lady then began to walk towards Amy, arms out as two soldiers walked close behind.

Amy clutched her baby close to her chest. "Leave her, just you leave her. Please leave her! Leave her!"

Two soldiers, one man and one woman, watched sadly as Amy sobbed as her daughter was taken away.

By the door, two hooded monks stepped closer to the rail.

Inside, Cyber-ship, Control...

"Intruder, level 11." A Cyberman informed as the ship kept being rocked by explosions.

"Seal levels 12, 13 and 14."

"Intruder, level 15."

Inside, Demon's Run, Nursery...

"He's the last of his kind." Amy spoke softly as she leaned over Melody, who was now in her 'bassinet'. "He looks young, but he's lived for hundreds and hundreds of years. And wherever they take you, Melody, however scared you are, I promise you, you will never be alone." She smiled sadly and leaned over, kissing Melody on the forehead. "Because this man is your father."

Inside, Cyber-ship, Control...

The Cyberleader took position, flanked by other Cybermen.

"Prepare to engage."

Inside, Demon's Run, Nursery...

"He has a name," Amy gently caressed her daughter's cheek. "but the people of our world know him better. . .as the Last Centurion."

Inside, Cyber-ship, Control...

The doors slid open, Rory striding in wearing his Roman garb.

The Cybermen aimed their weapons at him.

"I have a message and a question." Rory informed them. "A message from the Doctor and Alexis Pond, and a question from me...Where is my wife?" He looked at them expectedly. "Oh, don't give me those blank looks. The 12th Cyber Legion monitors this entire quadrant." He then walked to the window where the rest of the fleet could be seen. "You hear everything. So you tell me what I need to know, you tell me now, and I'll be on my way."

"What is the message?" The Cyberleader asked.

Just then, all the ships outside went up in a number of big and fiery explosions. Rory though, remained impassive.

"Would you like me to repeat the question?"
