Did they...? (A.k.a. The Morning After)

Inside, TARDIS, the Doctor's bedroom...

Lexi stirred awake, feeling a weight laying across her stomach. She looked down and saw it was an arm before letting her gaze drift up the length of the arm to reveal that it did indeed belong to the Doctor. He looked so peaceful when he slept.

"So, wasn't a dream." Lexi thought to herself, smiling as she sighed contently before nestling herself into his side.

She felt his arm wrap around her tighter, a kiss being placed on the top of her head.

"Good morning." He whispered to her.

She grinned, looking up at him and peering at him through her lashes. "Good morning."

"Sleep well?" He enquired, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Oh, think so. I was quite worn out." She answered, raising her head and kissing him, whispering against his lips. "My boyfriend made sure of that."

"Yes, well," He began as they pulled apart. "I do like to make sure my girlfriend is satisfied."

Lexi giggled at that.

Kitchen...

"Have you seen the Doctor?" Rory asked Amy as he entered the kitchen. "He wasn't in the console room."

"I haven't, actually." She replied as she poured herself some coffee. "In fact, I can't even seem to locate Lexi. I went to her room, but she wasn't there. Have you tried looking out the TARDIS doors? Maybe the Doctor parked somewhere and him and Lexi have gone off for a bit."

"I don't think so." Rory replied, grabbing the orange juice out of the fridge.

"Why not?" Amy asked as she took a bite of toast.

"Because we're floating in deep space." He informed her.

"Really?" Amy asked, swallowing her bite of toast. "Well, if we're floating in deep space, and the Doctor and Lexi are no where to be found, where are they?"

Soon after, the Doctor's bedroom, En suite...

"Lex, have you seen my bow tie?!" The Doctor asked from the bedroom.

"No, you pretty much hastily threw it...somewhere, last night." Lexi replied as she examined herself in the mirror

"What are you doing in here, anyway?" He asked, coming to stand in the doorway.

"Just admiring your bite-work on my neck." She answered as she examined a still pretty new dark purple/red 'bruise' on the left side of her neck.

The Doctor chuckled as he entered the room, coming to stand behind her as they looked at themselves in the mirror.

"Yes, well, if you didn't notice, dear," He began as he showed her a similar mark on the right side of his neck. "you're quite the biter as well."

"Touché." She said, a proud smirk on her face.

Kitchen...

"Where the hell could they be?" Rory shook his head as he flipped a pancake over in a pan as he stood by the stove.

"Well, this ship is basically infinite." Amy pointed out as she was slicing up a grapefruit. "They could be anywhere in here."

"In where?" Lexi asked as she entered the kitchen, a bright smile on her face.

"You're in a good mood this morning." Amy commented as she eyed her sister suspiciously.

"Why shouldn't I be?" She countered, pouring herself a mug of coffee.

"I don't know, just..." Amy trailed off, noticing something peeking out from beneath the neck of Lexi's shirt. Her eyes widened when she realized what it was. "Lexi, have you...have you got a hickey?"

"So what if I do?" She smirked, taking a sip of her coffee.

"Morning, everyone!" The Doctor greeted happily, pecking Lexi on the cheek as he passed her on his way to the fridge.

"You're in a good mood as well." Rory commented, turning off the stove before glancing at the Doctor. He narrowed his eyes as he examined the Doctor closely, eyes widening when he noticed something peeking out from underneath the collar of the Doctor shirt. "Amy, he's got one, too!"

"What?!" Amy exclaimed, glancing back and forth between the Doctor and Lexi.

"So?" The Doctor questioned before quickly glancing at Lexi and whispering harshly as he pointed at the mark on his neck. "Look what you did."

"Oh, my God...You didn't." Amy said, trying to suppress a grin from spreading across her face.

"You know, dear, you're not so innocent either," Lexi, pointing to the mark on her neck. "And besides, didn't hear you complaining last night."

"Oh, God, make it stop." Rory groaned, putting the pancakes on plates as he tried to destract himself.

"Need I remind you, dear brother-in-law, you and Amy put me through the exact same thing after you two first...you know." Lexi shot back, smirking.

"Oh, God." Rory dropped the spatula onto the counter. "Is it too early to start drinking yet?"

"Why?" The Doctor asked, hiding his face in Lexi's hair as he rested his head on top of her head.

"Oh, look at that, Amy." Lexi grinned, reaching up and petting the Doctor's head. "Our men are being bashful."

"They sure as hell don't like that when they're alone with us." Amy smirked.

"Okay, I'm not hungry anymore." Rory said, setting his plate down on the counter before making his way out of the kitchen. "I'm going to the console room."

"I'll go with you." The Doctor said, quickly following.

Lexi and Amy both laughed, sharing a discreet high-five before rushing after their men, hoping maybe to mess with them just a little bit more.

Now, I should tell you that I'm back at school and have started the semester. So, I don't know how frequent updates to this story will be. It won't be as frequent as they were the last month. I had been on winter vacation. I'll try to update as often as I can though.

So, with that said, the next episode shall be..."The God Complex"! :)
