Inside, Marshall's office, Day...
Jex was now standing in front of the wall as Lexi, Amy, Rory and Isaac faced him. Amy with a particularly angered expression on her face.
"It was stupid of me, I realise that now." Jex admitted. "I just thought I'd put you all in enough danger, perhaps if I left..."
"He's lying." Jupiter announced as she and the Doctor entered the office.
"Every word." The Doctor agreed as he approached Jex. "Everything he says, it's... all... lies. This man is a murderer."
"I am a scientist." He insisted.
"Jex, I think it would be wise if you sat down." Jupiter stated as she walked up to where he and the Doctor stood. Jex remained standing, refusing to sit. "Do I need to repeat myself?... I said SIT DOWN!" She shouted, crossing her arms as Jex immediately sat down in the chair. "Now, why don't you share with everyone what you are."
"What am I?" Jex asked, clarifying. "A war hero."
"Okay, somebody want to tell me what's going on?" Isaac questioned, looking back and forth between the Doctor and Jupiter.
"The Gunslinger is a cyborg." The Doctor informed him.
"A what?"
"Half man, half machine. A weapon." He clarified. "Jex built it. He and his team took volunteers, told them they'd be selected for special training, then experimented on them, fused their bodies with weaponry and programmed them to kill!"
"Okay, why?" Isaac asked, glancing at Jex. "Why would you do that, doc?"
"We'd been at war for nine years. A war that had already decimated half of our planet." He replied. "Our task was to bring peace, and we did. We built an army that routed the enemy and ended the war in less than a week. Do you want me to repent? To beg forgiveness for saving millions of lives?!"
"Oh, yeah?" Jupiter scoffed. "How many died screaming in agony on the operating table before you had FOUND your advantage?!"
"War is another world." Is what Jex replied with. "You cannot apply the politics of peace to what I did, to what any of us did."
The Doctor shook his head before walking to the other side of the room by the cell, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall.
"Now I see you for who you really are." Lexi stated lowly, making everyone turn their heads to look at her. "You're not just a man who makes death threats. You're a man who's actually willing to go through with them... What a sad person you are... Excuse me."
"Lex?" The Doctor asked, pushing away from the wall as he watched Lexi walk out of the Marshall's office. He then turned to look at everyone else. "What happened while Jupiter and I were gone?"
"You really don't wanna know." Amy shook her head. "Like you really, really don't."
The Doctor frowned at that statement, shaking his head before going after his wife.
Rory sighed before looking back to Jex. "So what happened then? How come you're here?"
"When the war ended, we had the cyborgs decommissioned." Jex answered. "But one of them must have got its circuitry damaged in battle. It went offline and began hunting down the team that created it, until just two of us were left. We fled and our ships crashed here."
Rory looked over at Jupiter to see her deep in thought as she stared off into space.
Rory then looked to Isaac. "So what do we do with Jex?"
