Inside, Senate, Senate Room, Day...
The Doctor, Sky, Jupiter and Churchill entered the large room.
"But what was the question?" Churchill asked them. "Why did it mean your death, Doctor?"
"Suppose there was a man who knew a secret." The Doctor began. "A terrible, dangerous secret that must never be told. How would you erase that secret from the world? Destroy it forever, before it can be spoken?"
"If I had to, I'd destroy the man." He answered.
"And then silence would fall." Sky said softly.
The Doctor glanced at him quickly before looking back to Churchill. "And all the times I've heard those words, I never realized... it was my silence. My death. The Doctor will fall."
"And Skyler and Jupiter Pond never happen." Jupiter finished before looking around the room. "Why are we here, Winston?"
"This?!" He replied. "This is the Senate Room."
"But why did we all leave your office?" Sky asked curiously.
"Well, we all wanted a stroll, didn't we?" Churchill responded before looking down and seeing that he was holding his revolver in his hand.
"I think I've been running." The Doctor informed before looking to Churchill. "Why do you have your revolver?"
"Well..." He started, looking to the trio. "You're dangerous company, soothsayers."
Sky and Jupiter both then looked down and saw that their left arms each had a black line on them.
The Doctor glanced over at the twins' arms. "Yes, I rather think we are."
"Please, resume your story." Churchill requested.
Inside, TARDIS...
"Any of you, please open my hatch, I've got an awful headache..." Dorium continued, making Sky let out a groan of frustration and make an angry, frustrated motion towards the box, almost like he wanted to pick it up and throw it across the room. "Which to be honest, means more than it used to."
Fed up with Dorium's complaining himself, the Doctor went over and opened the box to reveal Dorium upside-down.
"It's like some terrible weight pressing down on my..." Dorium continued, opening his eyes and seeing the position he himself was in. "Oh, I see!"
"Why Lake Silencio?" The Doctor questioned him. "Why Utah?"
"It's a still point in time." Dorium answered. "Makes it easier to create a fixed point. And your death is a fixed point, Doctor."
"And the only reason why Sky and I are here..." Jupiter began as she thought out loud. "Is because there's a version of the future where he doesn't die. But if he does actually die at Lake Silencio, then all that happens with us gets erased. It never happens at all."
"Precisely." Dorium responded.
"But I've been running all my life." The Doctor stated. "Why should I stop?"
"You can't run away from this. None of you can." Dorium told them all. "Because now you know what's at stake. Doctor, you know why your life must end."
"Not today." He replied, dialing the console phone.
"What's the point in delaying?" Dorium questioned. "How long have you delayed already?"
"Been knocking about. Bit of a farewell tour." The Doctor told him. "Things to do, people to see. Like Sky and Jupiter for example. There's always more. I could invent a new color, save the Dodo, join the Beatles!" He exclaimed into the phone. "Hello, it's me. Get him! Tell him, we're going out and it's all on me, except for the money and the driving." He then looked to Dorium. "I've got a time machine, Dorium... it's all still going on. For me, it never stops. I could help Rose Tyler with her homework, I could go on all of Jack's stag parties in one night. There is still so much, so much to see and do."
