"What the heck Danielle where were you?" He grabbed my arm rather so tightly.
"I was busy." I somewhat lied.
"Yeah well you could have at least told me. A little reply wouldn't hurt." He crossed his arms.
"I said I was sorry." I crossed my arms and didn't dare look at him.
"It's okay." He sighed. "It's just that I worry about you."
"Of what?" I narrowed my eyes suspiciously.
"Err...um... nothing so are you going to tell me why you didn't answer me?" He brought the subject back.
"I told you I was busy." I kept my voice low.
"On what?"
I felt I should tell him the truth but I was afraid if he knew the truth he would actually leave me. I don't think I was capable of breaking up with him yet.
"I was at the doctor." I mumbled.
"Where?" He scooted closer to me.
"Doctors."
"I can't hear you Danielle. You went where?"
"I went at the doctors okay!" I blurted.
There was a super long pause. A deadly silent pause.
"Why?" He broke the silence.
"Its a long story." I got up and started to head to my last class.
Just telling him the truth took me the living daylight out of me.
"Danielle come on tell me what's wrong? I got all the time." He chased after me and grasped me by the hand.
"I can't!" My voice started to shake. "I told you enough."
"No you haven't. Were you sick?" He asked.
I took a deep breath and put all of my fears to the sides. If he truly loves me then he would accept me how I am.
Right?
I was just about to say to him when the bell rang.
"I got to go but please wait for me after school please?" He gave me his sideway hug and ran off to his class.
"Bye." I whispered to myself as he disappeared into the crowd of people.
I had a feeling this will be the last time I would be with him.
