Chapter 8 - Accidental Kiss ?

~Lucy POV~

"Oh my gosh Lucy why are you home so early ?! And why are you covered in pesto ?!" My mum questioned. I don't know mum, maybe I just decided to turn into shrek and covered myself in Pesto.

"Natsu freaking Dragneel."

"Oh Lucy ! Stop accusing him. He's such an angel. This morning he even put back in your room your pencil case which you left at his." Since when do Angel's have horns ?! And he was in my room again. I wonder what he must've taken this time. Let me guess, my pants ? Or wait, maybe be decided to fill my pillow case with worms or trash my room. Mind you, as soon as he stepped into my room it became trash.

I stormed upstairs into my room and sighed a sigh of relief when I found it completely intact. I still had to check in case he'd got anything but I couldn't as I was covered in pesto. I desperately needed a shower, the smell was making me sick to my stomach.

Within minutes I hopped into the shower. There was pesto literally everywhere, even in my hair. I poured lots of soap all over me to make sure that the smell of pesto disappeared and spent ages washing my hair to try and get the persistent pesto out. By the time I managed to get it all out, half an hour had passed.

I dried myself off with the towel and wrapped one around my body and another around my hair.

'Natsu's going to die, Natsu's going to die, Dragneel will die...' I hummed in my head. It would make a great song.

"Yo Luce !" My eyes were dragged to my bed as I jumped out of fear. It felt like my heart had went inside my throat by the fright I had just gotten.

"Natsu FREAKING DRAGNEEL WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE ?!" I shouted at him while trying to gain my breathe back.

"...I was...ummm Lucy..." I noticed him turn a deep shade of red. "Your towel has fallen down..."

"E-ehhhhhhh !" I squealed picking up the towel off the floor and wrapping it around me as tight as I could. "TURN AROUND PERVERT !" I shouted throwing my slipper at his head. He scoffed and turned his thick head around before I could throw another slipper at him. Good.

I quickly scrambled to my wardrobe and began to put on my underwear and clothes. I put some shorts on and a tank top as they were the first clothes that popped up.

"Can I turn round now ?"

"No." I said although I'd finished getting changed. It was nice not to see his perfect- I mean ugly face.

"I'm bored, I'm turning round now- HEY YOU WERE FINISHED YOU LIAR!" He tossed my pillow at me which I picked up and tossed back harder, making him stumble and lose balance. He cracked his knuckles and aimed the pillow at me. I scrambled to take cover but it was no use, he was too fast. He sent me flying onto my bottom.

I grabbed the pillow and clenched my teeth as I watched him laugh at me. Not funny.

"Get out." I said pushing him towards the window.

"No, wait. Lucy I came to apologise."

Apologise. Tch. As if if believe that.

"Ha. Ha. So funny. Now get out before I push you out this window." I said. He stared at me before spinning me round so that my back was against the wall, and I was forced to look at him.

"Lucy, I said I'm sorry. Why don't you believe me ?" The look in his eyes once and for all was sincere, as if he really meant it.

"Well Natsu, yesterday you basically lead me on and humiliated me in front of your girlfriend. Today you humiliated me in the cafeteria. I threw up in front of everyone, don't you know how embarrassing that was ? Everyone is calling me shrek now thanks to you." I said avoiding eye contact with him. "I don't want to get bullied again..." I mumbled inaudibly.

"What ?"

"Nothing. Now please let me go." I said pushing him down. I didn't realise that I'd taken him off guard because he ended up falling and taking me down with him. I was basically sprawled across his chest with his lips  just mere centimetres from mine. I couldn't help but stare at them and felt like a magnet was there pulling me closer to them.

Natsu Dragneel. Why are you playing with my heart ?!

~Natsu POV~

I didn't really read Lucy's diary. I only read the pesto page and that's it. I didn't realise how humiliating it must have been until I heard everyone mocking and laughing at her and it began pissing me off.

Therefore, I covered myself in pesto too. I may be a little cruel to Lucy at times but I don't want anyone else to mock her apart from me.

Since I was covered in pesto I got to leave early and as soon as I went home I had a shower and then went to Lucy's to see if she was ok.

I didn't know she was in the shower I maybe thought she was downstairs so I waited for her to come but then damnnnn. Yeah...

It was hard too look away.

And now her face was so close to mine, I felt the urge to kiss her. But I don't love her, I love Luc- Lisanna. Lisanna.

"Lucy...I really am sorry, I mean it. I was thinking, why don't we finish this and.." I was cut off by her lips against mine. I couldn't help but kiss back. My heart began beating rapidly but was soon cut off by Lucy.

"We can't..." She said scrambling off me. "I'm sorry for kissing you and-"

"I'm sorry for kissing you too. I won't tell anyone..it can be our secret and it won't happen again right ?"

"Right." She smiled.

"Friends ?" The word came out a little stingy from my mouth.

"Friends." She said shaking my hand.

Finally made peace with the Heartfilia.... For now.

~Lisanna POV~

I went to Natsu's house during the lunch break but then I realised that he wasn't there.

I noticed that his window was wide open. I jumped across and peeked through Lucy's window and saw them kiss !

I've cheated on Natsu many times, in fact I do it all the time and when I cheat I do more than just kissing. I'm just sly enough not to be caught.

But Natsu is mine.

Lucy Heartfilia, you'll be sorry you ever crossed me.  

I jumped back across to Natsu's room and started rummaging through all of his things in attempt to find that dumbass diary he was hiding.

"What are you doing in my sons room ?" Said an annoying woman waking through the door. "Get out this instant." She boomed.

Diary searches have been interrupted. I guess I'll have to come up with something about Lucy then.

Oh ! A rumour ! Who doesn't love those ?

Hey guys ! I know it's been a long time since I updated !! My uncle was in hospital and the doctors said he probably wouldn't survive but miraculously he did !

He's better now, thanks to all your prayers. Thank you so much !

I managed to update today because yesterday basically I had a massive panic attack about school. I couldn't stop crying because I was stressed.

But I'm so happy I got to update this book ! I really like writing it, it's so much fun XD
