Leo's POV:

After reading the whole report Luis sent to my email, I took a deep breath and massaged my eyes while I processed the news.

"Seymone Ibarra." the name was almost too foreign on my tongue and yet it rings a bell within my blood.

I gazed back at a photo of her smiling with Sarina and marveled at how alike they were, except for the difference in skin color; they can pass for sisters. How odd that she did not inherit any facial features of our family.

Except that she is taller than Sarina meaning she got some of our height, her skin was just a few shades lighter than mine. Her hazel eyes had noticeable gold highlights in them and her straight black hair contrasts against Sarina's slightly wavy ones.

Maybe she did get some of our looks after all. Subtle but still recognizable.

Her eyes were at an age where they will slowly turn to amber when she reaches 25, it happened to me.

A knock on the office door made me stand up. My secretary showed my father in and closed the door quietly.

My father Joram actually went directly to my desk and snatched the paper from my fingers.

I let him peruse the contents till his fingers shook and his jaw clenched as he looked at the picture with an intense stare.

"This girl is my Eva's daughter. Seeing her and Sarina together like this, I can see more of myself with her. She even has the "Lyonel" eyes." his words held excitement, longing, and control but I knew he wanted to see his lost child. "Boy, prepare a private jet and retrieve Seymone as soon as possible. She needs to be restored to her rightful place here in Illyria."

"Father, calm down. We cannot do such a thing." my words made him crush the paper.

"Why ever not! I read the reports and what happened to my Eva after she left. She would have been treated badly-"

"But she was not. Sarina saved her from ever experiencing the same fate as her mother when she was younger. Besides father, Sarina is her registered guardian along with Kiel Larusso. We must plan this carefully."

My attempt at reasoning seems to have worked for my father's grip on the paper relaxed but he still looked impatient.

"I want to see her," he said raggedly. "I missed almost half her life and I will make things right."

"WE will make things right. Do not forget that Cat and I also have some work to do as her older half-siblings."

My words made my father look at me for a long time before he gruffly nodded.

"We also have to think about how Seymone would act when she knows who her real father is, she may not want to see you because of what happened. She may even view it as you abandoning her mother." I said which made his broad shoulders slumped in defeat.

"I also entertained that notion. It will be hard to explain to her about our "traditions" and even more she might have inherited a "gift" of her very own."

That...won't be explained so easily to a lost princess.

"I have to entrust you with a mission then," Joram said, his voice was that of a king. "You are leaving first thing tomorrow right? Let me grant you all the resources even the ones at the embassy in the Philippines. Just please...bring her back."

It was a generous thing for my father to give me access to all the resources of both the government and Palace just to make sure I could bring his love child back.

"Alright then. What about Sarina?"

Joram looked at me and he had a sly smile.

"I am sure you would bring her without me ordering you to do so. But I will have to reward her for helping me find my daughter."
