Sarina's POV:

"His Highness wants to see me?" I asked Cat, who nodded as she sipped her tea and nibbled on a tasty fruit tart that I made.

Me and the princess were having tea at the Palace. It was my last day here before I go back with Leone to his mansion home and think of where I will be taking my Degree in Medicine to become a doctor.

I had mentioned this to my lover and he all but supported me and even got Luis to recommend local and international universities well known for their medicinal studies.

"Yes, something about Uncle Henry's full inheritance."

"Full inheritance?"

"Yes. Didn't you know? The money you currently have is one 1/4 of wealth Uncle has. Father froze most of his assets when he went away and somehow he knew he would have an heir and that is why he wanted to discuss it with you."

Does that mean I just got richer?

The thought disturbed me more than I thought, It seems like I will have to make a meeting with Luis right away on where to place my assets or if I wanted it to go to new investments.

So much work to do I guess but It cannot be helped.

"There must be something else his majesty requires? Discussing my added assets won't warrant a long time now would it?" I said to Cat as I added more milk to my tea.

Cat grinned at me as she flipped her blonde hair.

"You are a smart girl. There is another reason as you said. It is about Sey."she explained. " Father has been keeping himself back but even I can see that he longs to hold Sey in his arms. Is there any way you can convince your cousin to meet with him?"

I felt my shoulders slump dejectedly at my latest conversation with my cousin this morning before she went sightseeing with K.C this morning. She may have relaxed easily around Cat and even to some extent; Leone but she was still stubborn as a rock when it comes to meeting King Joram.

Something tells me that one of the reasons she was avoiding him was because of how she would feel when she meets the love of her mother's life and it might turn ugly or it might change the way she thought him and that scares her.

But I did extract a promise from her that she would meet him but she said she would meet him when she is ready.

There must be something that I can do to bridge the gap between an estranged father and daughter.

"Sarina? You seem so deep in thought. I was asking you if you would like to meet him now? I just got a call from my people that he is currently free." Cat's voice made me sip my tea and stand up, fluffing my floral dress.

"Let's go."I nodded.

----------------------------------------------------------------

The Throne room of the Royal Palace was very massive and sumptuously laid with purple and gold carpeting, marble floors, chandeliers, tapestries and indoor gardens that seems so magical.

It felt like one of those fantasy thrones in Elven kingdoms I read in books and it was really magical.

I was in awe as I came closer and I saw the King with a few older gentlemen dressed in black, looking seriously at some papers.

Somehow he noticed us and after some minutes, he sent the older men away who bowed to him before leaving the king; they in saw us and bowed politely murmuring our names before they left.

"Your Highness." I curtsied just as Cat did the same as he took a seat on his throne.

"At ease ladies, No need for formalities." Joram smiled at us. " And please call me father."
