2.6: Apologies for Teasing

"Uhhh...hyung," Hansol said as you all stare at Seungcheol waiting for him to explain.
"Why?" He looked at Hansol unaware of what he just said.
"You mean you're sharing the room with Y/N?" Jihoon asked him.

Seungcheol's jaw dropped. He slowly turned to look at you again. It was silent. S.coups stared at you shocked.

"Did I say that? I mean your room. Not ours. Sorry. I got confusing imagining. Sorry. I think I'm just too hungry to talk right now." He said flashing his best smile which turned into a grin.
"I see." You said.
"What were you imagining, hyung?!" You heard Seungkwan whisper to Seungcheol.
"You know what! Don't ask! Hyung is a pervert!" Dokyeom whispered too earning a pinch from Seungcheol.
"I'm not a byuntae!" Seungcheol whispered back.

You can't help but laugh at them. You don't want them to know you heard them so you turned away from them as you laughed quietly. Only when you turned did you realize that Wonwoo is already awake and is glaring at you again.

"Good night, Y/N-ah!"
"Sleep tight, my cutie!~"
"I'm just in the next room. Just knock if you need anything."
"Sweet dreams for you, Y/N-ah!~"
"I really wish I could share the room with you but our untrusting leader won't let me. I'm sorry!~"
"Yah! YAH! Hajima! Stop it already. Go to your rooms. We have a pictorial tomorrow early the morning. You need to sleep now." Seungcheol said pushing the boys to their rooms.

It's already past 9, and you just ate dinner with the boys and the staffs. The staffs know you as Seungcheol's bestfriend and they treat you well. Some of them became your friends immediately. It's good most of them know how to speak in English.

"Ugh! Hyung, you're so selfish. Try sharing your bestfriend with us sometimes please." Jihoon joked as he voluntarily made his way to his room.
"You're so right, hyung." Minghao said.
"I know. I'm a genius."

Seungcheol just shook his head smiling. He walked to you and held your hand. His smile is really one of the best things that exist! It's killing you from your head down to your feels!

"Y/N-ah," He started making you blush.
"Hmmm?"
"Thank you, for coming with us here, although we didn't tell you why and where we're going." He said looking so shy.
"Well, speaking of, why did you bring me here with you?" You asked him.
"Oh. That. The boys were planning to invite you to a vacation in Jeju when Seungkwannie visits his mom."
"And? What's wrong with that?"
"They're planning to go there without me, and I can't let that happen, especially when you're coming with them. So, I suggested to just bring you here with us. They still get to have time with you at the same time, I'm around to make sure they don't do anything to you." He said quickly surprising you because he just said that real fast.
"Well...that's..."
"I'm sorry for taking away your supposedly rest hours. I know if we didn't pull you into this, you would be resting because I know how tired you are. But, trust me you really made me happy just by coming."
"Why are you apologizing, oppa?! It's really great to spend time with you guys. It's not a right. It's a privilege for me. And, I'm glad I made you happy if that's even possible." You said giggling.
"Ofcourse it's possible. You always make me happy, happier than I have ever been."

He stared at you still smiling. You smiled back and tried to concentrate but you got lost in his eyes. Soon, all you could think of is how much you love him more than just as his bestfriend. You tiptoed. His eyes widened and you felt his heart beat fast as you put your hand on his chest for balance.

"Good night, nae sarang." You whispered into his ear.

He didn't reply. He was frozen. You laughed looking at his face. What happened to him?! You turned around to walk to your room, but he did't let go of your hand. You looked at him again, but he's no longer frozen. He's smiling madly. He suddenly pulled you close, really close, his hand on the small of your back.

"Yah. Never leave this man expecting. It irritates me when my expectations aren't met especially this one. I thought you'd kiss me.  And, don't get so addicted to Vernon's predebut days. I'm getting really jealous. Being my bestfriend isn't a right nor is it a privilege. Take good care of your position or else you might lose it." He whispered and smirked before walking to his room.
