5.5: Seventeen's Mom

"Y/N-ah! Are you okay?! Do you know how worried we were?!" Dokyeom said as he emerged into the room with the rest except for Wonwoo and Mingyu.
"That's right! You shouldn't have wondered alone!" Soonyoung told you.
"What do you expect her to do? Ask you to accompany her to the comfortroom? You pervert." Seungkwan told him.

You noticed Seungcheol laughing quietly beside you. You're still confused. Why are they like this? They should hate you. Mingyu is hurt because of you.

"Why are you laughing?" You whispered to Seungcheol and he stopped laughing.
"Congratulations, Y/N-ah! We're glad you're our mom!" Chan said excitedly.
"Mom?!" You asked him.
"Ne! Eomma!~" Dokyeom said clinging onto your arm.
"You're our mom now since you're our dad's other half." Hansol explained.

You looked at Seungcheol waiting for his explanation, but he just shrugged before laughing. You pushed him gently.

"Yah! Don't laugh!"
"Ok! Ok! I'm sorry. I told them already. They know about us now." He said.
"Wait! Jisoos, you're hurt too! That must be painful!" Jisoo said touching the gauze covering your cut.
"I'm fine. I'm worried about Mingyu oppa."
"Yah! I told you not to worry anymore." Seungcheol told you.
"Yeah. He's better now. His blood count is back to normal they said. He's talking with Wonwoo now. You can go to him later." Minghao added.
"Wait. What about the fanmeet?! Why are you all here?!" You asked.
"Because you're here."
"Mwo?! But the fans, they...they waited for it and paid for it." You asked them.
"We gave half of the payments back."
"The fanmeet is almost about to end anyway when this happened. Gosh, Y/N-ah. You need bodyguards." Jisoo said.
"I'll be your bodyguard!" Vernon said raising his hand.
"No! I'm her official bodyguard!!!" Seungkwan said pushing Hansol away.
"Stop! Stop! She doesn't need any bodyguard. She has me." Seungcheol said pulling you closer to him, kissing your jawline.
"Oh. Get a room, you two." Jeonghan complained.
"Don't you think we had this room for us alone until you all came?" Seungcheol told him.
"Oh! Right! Guys! Retreat! Out of the room! Out of the lovers' room! Give dad and mom some alone time!" Soonyoung commanded.
"Will do!" The rest answered following him out of the room.
"Good luck, Y/N-ah! I'm sure you'll do great having my former role." Jeonghan told you before stepping out of the room.

They marched out of the room like a mob of cute little preschoolers. You can't help but giggle at their cuteness. You giggled until you realized Seungcheol has been staring at you.

"Sorry. It's just...they're so cute." You apologized to him looking away.
"Hey. I'm still trying not to get mad because...you know...but, I want to ask you to do something."
"What? I would do anything."
"Please don't do it again." He said resting his forehead on your shoulder. "We'll release a statement soon about what Wonwoo said to stop these things from happening. But, I can't guarantee you're safe again."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm not asking you to stay away from Wonwoo, but please try to avoid him. He has feelings for you you know. I knew it ever since I saw his face when I was talking about you."
"He has? Wait. You knew but you didn't do anything?"
"Because I trust that boy. He's still a boy, blind with love. So yeah. You know this is for your safety." He said looking into your eyes.
"I understand."
"And for the silence of your jealous idiot too." He leaned closer to kiss you again. And again. And again. And again. And it feels like it'll never end.
