Juliet's POV

I turned around. "What do you want, Enoch?" I snarled.

"You know what? Never mind. I see this is the same reason I was fine that you left." He shot back.

"That... doesn't even make sense." I stuck my tongue out at him like a little kid.

"You don't make sense." He smirked.

"No, I'm *ineffable." I smirked back.

"Ine—what?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Exactly." I crossed my arms, turned around and walked inside.

"What took you so long?" Jake asked, waiting inside with Emma.

"Enoch was being a meanie," I said loudly as Enoch walked in.

"She was being an influffable person." He said back, struggling on the word "influffable." I laughed.

"Do you mean ineffable?" Jake asked.

"How come everyone knows that word?" Enoch said annoyed.

"Because we're not all stupid." I sneered. Enoch didn't respond, he only stomped to his room.

"That's the first time anyone's called Enoch, stupid," Emma said.

"That's not gonna be the only time." I murmured.

"We should get to bed. Miss. Peregrine told us to wait for you guys." Jake told us. I nodded and I walked with Emma to her room.

"Miss P said you get your own room tomorrow," Emma informed me.

"Aw, in gonna miss staying up with you and talking about random things." I laughed.

"Me too. But you're only one room down." She smiled.

I smiled and crawled into my bed, quickly falling asleep.

I was awoken by the sound of crying. I noticed Emma was out of her bed, but I knew it wasn't her.

I walked downstairs and into the greenhouse attachment. I saw Miss Peregrine and another woman on the couch, surrounded by a few unfamiliar children. The other kids were there, and so was Enoch.

"Miss Avocet?" The lady looked at me. Indeed, it was Miss Avocet.

"Oh, Juliet! It's great to see you!" She replied.

"Miss Peregrine, what's going on?" Jake's voice came up behind me.

"Miss Avocet's loop was raided by Hollowgasts." She replied sadly.

The children on the floor looked at me.

"Kaitlin! Travis!" I smiled at the little kids. They were the two that would always ask me to play with them. They were very sweet.

"Yes. I'm afraid only four of us made it out." Miss Avocet sighed sadly.

"Wait. Four?" I asked confused.

"That's right, Juliet. Four." I heard a sickly familiar voice.

"Dante," I growled.

"It's good to see you." He replied.

"I wish I could say the same, but that would be lying, and I don't want my nose to grow as long as yours." I sneered.

"Juliet, who's that?" Jake asked.

"You haven't even introduced me, Jules?" I saw Enoch tense at the nickname.

"First off, don't call me Jules. Second, why would I?" I said in 'duh' tone.

"Who are you?" Enoch spoke up.

"Since Jules won't tell you, I will. My name is Dante Boselli. I'm Juliet's ex-boyfriend."
