Juliet's POV

"So I hope you know that this is a home for children. It is not an appropriate place for snogging." Miss Peregrine said.

"Yes, Miss." Dante and I nodded.

"I can't believe Millard was a snitch." I mumbled.

"I'm sorry." Millard walked into the room. "It's just, nothing interesting ever happens around here."

"It's totally fine. And I agree. There needs to be more action here." I said hugging him.

"Good news, children, Miss Peregrine has found us a lovely place for our new loop." Miss Avocet told Kaitlyn, Travis, and Dante. Kaitlyn and Travis ran around in joy. Dante, on the other hand, just stood, looking at the ground.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"I just, really miss Blackpool. I love it there. You know, it's stupid, I know." He sighed.

"No it's not. I totally get it. I do get *hiraeths too." I said honestly.

"I'm going to take that as a sign of assurance." He laughed.

Enoch's POV

I heard cheering, so I walked into the living room to see what was going on. I saw Jules and Dante talking, but I could only hear a few words.

"I... really miss... I love... you ..."

"No... I ... do... too..." then she smiled at him. I didn't want to hear anymore, so I stormed outside.

"Enoch, what's the matter?" I heard Olive ask.

"Nothing." I grumbled.

"Don't be like that." She scolded.

"I said, nothing, Olive." I said louder.

"Well I'm not leaving until you do." She said.

"It doesn't concern you." I repeated.

"I can see through your lies." She crossed her arms.

"I just need to be alone right now." I sighed. She nodded and walked away.

I thought for a moment she liked me again. I suppose not. Olive is kind though.

Juliet's POV

We just sat in silence until I heard someone's thoughts. Sometimes I can't control it.

I though for a moment she liked me again. I suppose not. Olive is kind though.

"Enoch likes Olive?" I whispered.

"Really? Great for him." Dante said.

"Yeah. Great." I said. Honestly, I was happy for him. It's just, something didn't feel right.
