A rich man decides to throw a very special party for his daredevil of a daughter, who would be 16 in a bit.
He decides to fill the party with thrills, from bungee jumping to skydiving to a pool filled to the brim with alligators.
On the day of the party, the father exclaimed to the large group of people surrounding the pool, "Everyone! I have a challenge. The person, male or female, to swim across this pool of alligators, will get the choice of 1 million dollars, or my blessing to marry my daughter. This option is only available, for those who survive the death pool!"
The guests looked at each other, waiting for a splash from some adventurous or eager guest. It came soon enough.
The man swam and swam across the pool, his shirt ripping and tearing, the blood from small gashes dyed the water crimson.
Once he had reached the other side of the pool, he was sopping wet and shivering.
"Get this brave man a blanket!", the rich man said, then he turned to the wet man, "Which shall it be? The hand of my daughter, or the cash?"
But what did the man say?
