The rich Horatio Horton was found shot in his room. Suicide was ruled out after a thorough investigation which brought on no information about a killer in the home. Later on, the intern discovered some muddy footprints on the asphalt outside the house. However, it had not rained in weeks.
They interviewed the three men who lived close to the bank.
Karim said that he was out with friends and had gone to his girlfriend's house afterward.
Wesley said that he had been at home watching his children.
Fred confessed that he had been playing video games with his boyfriend at around the same time the murder happened.
They found nothing odd in the statements and they were stumped. Who could have killed Horatio?
The same intern who had found the footprints said that they should look at it from another perspective. She drew up a map of the houses and buildings in the area.
Her map provided more insight and after a few hours of studying it, they found the guilty person.
Was it Fred, Wesley or Karim and why?
