Leaving

"Y/n,you should go inside. "Jaehyun said.

You two are in your tree house beside your house.It's getting dark.But you wouldn't mind,because Jaehyun is there your best friend and your first love.Plus the view is pretty good.

You two watched the view.You rested your arms on a handle in your tree house.He stood there beside you

"Nah..I'll stay here. You,.. you should go."You said.

"I'll stay here with you. "That made your heart flutter.

You hid your smile.

It went quiet for awhile.But the silence isn't uncomfortable;but for you it connects both of you.

"Y/n."Jaehyun called,seriously..

You turn to face him.

"Jaehyun?"you joked.

That made him smile.

You beam.You liked it when he smile like that.

His eyes fell down.And his smile slowly faded.

"Umm..I gotta tell you something.."he rubbing the back of his neck.

You bit your  lip.

Maybe he'll confess..You said to yourself

"Mm.."

"I know we've been friends,ever since."he began avoiding eye contact.

You just listen slightly smiling.

You gave a nod.

"And I hope we still will."he added,looking down.

You nod.

Waiting for those words.

"I'm leaving..."his eyes flickered on yours.

Those words was deafening.

Your smile slowly, faded.

He's leaving?...!you ask yourself.

"You're leaving?.."your voice broke.Confused.

Leaving right now?

Leaving here?

Or leaving here,permanently?..

Those questions circulates in your brain.

"Yeah.My father decide to move out.And go to New York.."he stated sadly.

You just examined his face.Full of sadness.Not saying anything .Just examining him.

Why?

Do you have to leave?

Will you stay?

Those questions hunted you.

"Oh."That's the only word escaped in your lipd, beginning to cry.

"Yeah.."he sighed.Your eyes still locked on him.

You know he doesn't want to leave..

"Wow.."a tear escaped in your eyes.You hid it by smiling.

Your face fell down and just let out a soft  chuckle.

You try to tell something.But your starting tear up.

You thought he's going to confess..

You sniff, and looked up.

"Well..That's a good news.."You gave him a fake smile.

His eyes went wide full of worried.You know he saw you cry.

"Y/n.."Jaehyun said.He was about to grab your hand but you didn't.

"That's a good news..umm..When will you leave?"you questioned.

He took a deep breath.You know it's hard for him to speak like this.

"Tomorrow."

"Ah ."You said, that explain some of the box outside their house.

It went quiet, your face fell down, bitting your lip.Controling the tears, that about to fall.

No one speak, or utter a word. So.. You're the one to broke the ice.

"Well good luck my friend."You walk away.

"Y/n."he called.

But you ignored him.

"I like you.."That made you stop.

And tears began to stream, turning to face him.

"I like you too.."you confessed.

He gave a sad smile and walk to you.Pulling you in a hug, you let him embrace you.

"I never thought I'll be confessing to you like this.."he stated,he tried to be light.

You smiled, and cherished that moment with him.
