Chapter three

Justin's P.O.V

We just got back to Scarlett's it was good seeing her so happy but ever since her and Ryan had a talk he's been quite I was going to find out why.

We all decided to watch a movie Johnny and I were sitting on the couch while Scarlett was getting food and drinks. I got up and went into the kitchen to help her but I really wanted to know what's up with Ryan.

"Need any help" I asked

"No thanks I've got it" she smiled

"Okay, but what's up with Ryan he's been quite since you two talked at the airport" I asked

"I asked Ryan about what you said last night about him liking me, he told me that it was after you left and I said thank god, I don't think I'd be able to handle hurting you as well" She explained

"Yeah whenever we called he'd always talk about you, i know he doesn't like you now" I replied

"Okay so why did he look hurt after I said that" She asked

"You'll have to ask him" I replied then walked back into the lounge room Johnny was asleep.

Scarlett walked into the lounge room and sat next to me.

"Hey did Demi text you back from last night" I asked

"Na, think I scared her away" she replied

Scarlett's P.O.V

I finally got to pick the movie so I picked abduction, I pulled my phone out and decided to text Demi to clear things up about last.

TEXT MESSAGE

Scarlett: Hey Demi, look sorry about the text last night Justin dared me to😳.

END TEXT MESSAGE

I put my phone in my lap and watched the movie, well I tried to Justin wouldn't stop throwing popcorn at me.

"Don't you have some music to record" I asked

"Nope day off" he smiled

"And you want to spend it with me" I questioned

"Well of course, you're my little Scarlett" he laughed

"Dude I'm older then you" I laughed

"Only by a month" he smiled

"Still older" I poked my tongue out

"So any way I'm thinking about telling Johnny why my mum hates me" I said in a serious tone

He looked at me.

" I think that's a good idea, maybe you could tell him you're dating ruby as well" he replied

I shot him a look.

"I'm not" I said

"She might think different" he replied

"She knows we aren't serious" I replied

"I don't see why you's aren't tho" he smiled

"We're not" I scoffed

"But why" Justin asked

"Because I hate myself Justin" I yelled walking up the stairs to my room

I slammed my door and fell on to my bed, I could feel the tears starting to form i knew it would only be seconds before Justin walked through the door. Justin walked in my room closing the door behind him.

"What was that all about" Justin asked slightly yelling

"Sorry I didn't mean to yell at you" I said sitting up

Justin sat next to me.

"It's fine, just tell me what's wrong, what do you mean you hate yourself" Justin asked

"Ever since I cheated I've hated myself" I replied

"Scarlett that was a year ago, you've gotta move on" Justin said

"How can I Justin" I asked

"Go out with someone" Justin said

"I don't trust myself, I don't want to hurt anyone else" I sighed

"You have to trust yourself scar, you've changed so much in the last year for the better" Justin said

I nodded knowing he was right.

"Can you take Johnny some where I've gotta sort things out with Ryan" I asked

"Of course" Justin replied

I gave him a hug and thanked him then left for Justin's.

I arrived at Justin's and knocked on the door waiting for Ryan to answer it. He opened the door and rolled his eyes.

"Can I come in please" I asked

He stepped aside letting me so I walked to the stools at the kitchen counter Ryan followed.

"We need to talk" I said

"Go on" he replied

"Okay, you told me at the airport that you don't like me so why are you angry" I asked

"I'm not angry" he said annoyed

"Yes you are, I'm not stupid Ryan" I raised my voice a little

"Obviously you are! I'm not angry I'm hurt" he said

I looked at him confused.

"It hurt knowing you were so happy that I don't like you now" he sighed sitting next to me.

"Yes I'm happy that you don't like me now but not because it's you, but because I hate myself after what happened with Chaz I don't think id be able to handle hurting you as much as I did Chaz" I explained

"But even if I did like you now how would you hurt me" he asked confused

"I don't feel that way about you" I replied

"Oh" he said gently

"Oh god I'm making this worse" I laughed a little

"It's not that you're not a nice guy or anything but I kinda swing the other way" I said quietly looking down kind of regretting telling him.

"Wait you don't like guys" he asked smiling

"Not really Chaz was an exception, I wasn't ready to come out well I'm still not but I tried to convince myself I was into guys and it worked until I cheated" I explained

"There's nothing wrong with liking girls, now we have even more in common" he said nudging me.

"So we are all good now" I asked

"Of course" he said hugging me, just then my phone went of so I pulled it out and it was a text from Demi.

TEXT MESSAGE

Demi: haha it's okay babe, when are we gunna hang?

Scarlett: I'm not sure, id love to but my brothers in town. I'll text you when I'm free?

Demi: Sure, how olds your brother? ;)

Scarlett: Demi! He's 17 :)

END TEXT MESSAGES

I'm freaking out Demi called me babe. I couldn't stop smiling but then reality hit and I remembered Demi's into guys.

"You look happy" Ryan said, oops I totally forgot he was there.

I smiled at him and gave him a hug.
