So the third kit has finally hit (I started to be convinced that the special blue check version) I'm not a fan of orange but I like it, dad said it's a terrible kit. It's certainly nicer and better on the eye than last season. Bold Citrus is the new better Toxic Thunder. There was a comment in the stream chat box that we chose to wear orange today to confuse Frank De Boer which made me laugh but apparently it worked.

At one point the commentators said "geographically, this is a home game for Liverpool" What does that mean? How are we geographically any closer to Hong Kong than any other English team, unless they said demographically or something.

Henderson really shined with his passes, if only those passes had been converted so he could take the credit for it. After Tranmere dad asked if any first team played and then refused Hendo as being first team and I'm like he's our captain how is that not first team?!

Salah won a free-kick from Scott Dann, got him yellow carded. He nutmegged Scott Dann the Liverpool traitor fan. If I didn't love Salah before, I do now.

It was really frustrating again how close Sturridge came to scoring but it didn't quite happen, he played really well but I know I'm on his back cos he's on mine. Speaking of Sturridge I have to apologise for calling a sky sports woman a bitch yesterday she said something about Sturridge and injury and I assumed it'd happened again and shot the messenger before I'd even listened and then it went over to Klopp saying he's in the best shape since Klopp's been there.

I missed most of Solanke's contributions to the Tranmere game. There was no missing him today! Chelsea's gonna end up making us pay a fortune if he keeps it up before the tribunal fee is decided.

Coutinho picked the ball deep, sends it to Origi and he to Solanke. He fires to low into the back of the net!

Grujic got booked just getting back at Zaha, comes so close to making u for it with a just wide 35 yard shot.

Much less impressive goal but just as important. It goes to Coutinho, he's blocked and Origi manages to tap it in, making up for being offside earlier.

Dad was on the phone so I had to celebrate both those goals silently, shame cos they deserved a proper cheer.

This has to be the least exciting semi final possible, no offense to the Asia Cup but yeah it's not exactly easy to get excited by a Crystal Palace semi and a Leicester final. Although they are literally the teams we need more experience in trying to beat so it's good for us to be in it. I just need to stop being selfish and let the people of Hong Kong enjoy the Liverpool footie they've waited 10 year to see in person.

Still, can we play Palace for our home game here every time?

Klopp sounds really frustrated tired, the man needs a chance to rest and not think about football, travel, rain etc if that's possible for him.

Next up the final against Leicester, Saturday 22 July 13:30

Leicester beat West Brom 7-6 on penalties. They did the ABBA penalties I don't like it, it confused John Barns, why change it? It's supposed to be fairer like that but I don't see how when B team has a chance to immediately score twice and the keeper doesn't get a chance to not have the pressure on him in that time. I saw it with the England U17s and it wrecked the goalie but tbh he was already gone from the moment they drew the game in the last minute.

I still need to do the cover but England Scotland in the Women's Euros  is tonight at 19:45 so I need to get one together. I'm so excited to see the Lionesses play.

The question is do I keep a Liverpool shirt on for an England match?
