MotM- Loris Karius

(When I saw the team sheet I had to get my head around him being there like well it's Wednesday so this is the CL game so it's his game. Battled the wind, corners and Brom and won)

I am so angry, frustrated, I don't know what but just AGGGHHHH!!! Bloody stupid old English relegation specialist men.

Liverpool though. I will blame us today. We were still down from the other day. Mane apparently hasn't been able to let go of his big moment cos he wasn't too keen on trying to have a shot today.

I'm not saying this as a complaint cos I was the same but the fans got impatient quick, demanding Can shoot from far out. I was just like really, then you'll just get mad at him when it doesn't work.

This is meant to be a contact sport, right?! It seems shoulder to shoulder type challenges are being wiped out. A little barge and they go flying.

Brom went through about 6 corners in a row and didn't manage to score one of them! Then that free kick that the wind took way close to getting in the net than we should've ever had to see. They even hit the corner of the cross bar.

I probably shouldn't have been so negative about our corners. After the first one I went on a bit of a rant like why don't we just let our opposition take them, it always goes straight to them anyway, save us the trouble of thinking there might be a goal. Then I started thinking about Lucas' one in the FA cup and felt bittersweet about it.

Alex OC and Solanke came on. I was negative about them too when I shouldn't've been.

Solanke came on and broke the unbreakable deadlock but the powers that be decided the ball rolling up his body onto his upper arm before going in the net constitutes as handball and took it away. They let him celebrate his first goal for Liverpool for ages before coming up with that stupid decision. After that he had a shot that was saved on the line too.

The officials were so slow to react to things like that and offside today, credit to the ref for giving Field a yellow when he tried to hold the ball so Gomez couldn't throw in. Made me wonder what would happen if he did it again and got a red but he wasn't on the pitch, he was just warming up as a potential sub so what happens then? They just have to pick someone on the field to come off? I wish we'd found out cos that would've been interesting.

Another two points gone cos of bullshit. And the fact that we just couldn't break down this kind of "football" I thought we'd found the way to unlock it but it looks like it's gone again.

I don't think I would've minded missing this one. I'm still so wound up.

Next up Bournemouth away, Sunday 17th December 2017 16:30

We haven't scored in injury time since 2011, can you believe that?
