I saved that photo as VVD £. There's plenty of celebration pictures as there will be many times to come but I couldn't miss an opportunity to highlight that Sterling was on the wrong side of us again, could I?

I don't think there's been time for anything outside the seniors' games to happen has there? I feel like there has been something but I can't think what it is. Something big.

Getting called a long ball team by that City player, I was like well that's good, the opposition has been watching a different team but he did actually turn out to be right tonight.

City managed to mess up their perfect title wrap up scenario. Dad said it'd be good if they bottled it now even if it went to United. I hugely disagree, on the last part. They've got Spurs next I think Redmen TV said when they discussed it and the only team Spurs has stopped from winning a title is themselves. I dunno maybe this is where they fall this is the third loss in a row.

MotM- The linesman

(He was so eagle eyed and on the ball to flag up all those City off sides. I honestly can't remember to give it to a player, it's just a blur of nerves, excitement and bouncing around speaking way too fast in really disjointed sentences. There's not much in the way of stats and tactics or the like in this one.)

So at least all of yesterday and all of today my mantra has been just score first, score first and they need four, we might be able to keep out four. I tried to reason, forget the aggregate or see it as one not three so they've got something but not something to be comfortable about. In the first minute VVD made a mistake and City scored straight up. That was not the plan at all.

City's ball boys and girls, may be the quickest I've ever seen. They were providing a new ball before the other had even gotten past the line. It was crazy how quickly they got their players ready to throw again.

I couldn't stop shaking until about just before half time! Our team was unrecognizable, completely pegged back, fighting for their lives to avoid any more goals. It was like yellow cards all round for the boys in red as well it seemed to be going disastrously.

Dad declared he had a bad feeling about this but I didn't. I still thought we were going to make it, I guess I believe and trust in the players more.

City hit the woodwork and then City scored. The scoreboard went to 2-0 and it got wiped away again. It took a while to go back down to one so I was like take it off!!! The goal may or may not have been legit, the linesman and the ref said no.

We almost got that goal we need at the end of the first half. Alex OC played a one-two with Salah, but can't finish from a tight angle. It was close and it was certainly the lift I needed to see to survive half time.

Pep got sent to the stands for arguing about the non goal. I found that quite funny but it should've been the keeper, not the manager who was off. He very intentionally pushed Mane three times and then got into his face.Mane was cautioned for catching Otamendi, which he slipped and was trying to get out of but the keeper wanted revenge and to try to provoke him but Mane wasn't having it and the keeper should've walked for his aggressive behaviour. He didn't mean to kick you in the face, alright?!

It especially pissed me off later when VVD got a yellow for pushing someone from off his back but it's fine that the keeper walked up to someone and pushed them THREE times and got in his face.

Into the second half we pick up rythm and attack, City are getting a bit desperate and a little mistake-y. Mane got into the box and was brought down, we're waiting for a penalty but Salah isn't. He just goes around Mane and the two City players on the floor and puts it in the back of the net.

Mo Salah does it yet again. Liverpool haven't even been in this game tonight but they lead 4-1 on aggregate and City need four goals in the space of half an hour. That was the huge relieve that I wanted US to start with.

That forced them to put on Aguero adding to their already more attack than anything team.

Dad started quite ominously counting down the time. 28, 22, 8, it's  usually me staring at the clock but I just couldn't take m eyes off the football to see how long this was going to go on for.

City started getting caught off side again and again and the mistakes crept in. We went from shit scared to laughing at all the offsides and missed passes and that.

irmino was all too willing to take advantage. He just cut inside and coolly rolled the ball past Ederson.I was terrible at seeing where the ball was going loads of times, I was sure that was going just wide put it went on home in the net.

We might as well have been part of the away end at the way we were jumping and screaming at that. That goal lead to a winning away against an English side in Europe. I tried to explain that to my brother but the words would not come out in an order that made sens

Firmino and TAA make way for Klavan and Clyne. We were a bit confused by Clyne cos we only saw Klavan come on and the commentators said something about Clyne but then we saw him and all was good.

Salah went off for Danny, Danny Ings to come on. Dad said he'd love for him to score now and I'm like there's never a point in which we wouldn't love a Danny Ings goal but he's not gonna get it and he didn't.

I clapped every time Karius caught the ball as usual but today I realised I'm clapping at a grown man being able to catch a ball which sounds so weird out of context.

We're in the semi final of the Champion's League! We're all gonna be walking around ten foot tall for the next week, thank you Liverpool!

It took me a while to start writing this chapter cos I had to go apologise to my dog for all the shouting, she doesn't like football cos of the shouting. She was in mum's room so I got talking to mum trying to talk to her about it at a million miles an hour. So after the last final we had with City I took a picture with me dog and here is tonight's version. I'm not good at smiling on command  or taking pictures of myself and she didn't want to cooperate so I was getting frustrated but I think it turned out alright.

So in the first half it updated that Roma scored so were now 4-2 with Barcalona, we didn't think much to it, it didn't give us any other updates but once our whistle had gone it switched over to that game

So in the first half it updated that Roma scored so were now 4-2 with Barcalona, we didn't think much to it, it didn't give us any other updates but once our whistle had gone it switched over to that game. Roma had one minute of extra left and we saw them go through 4-4 on the away goal and I'm even more excited cos of that. I can't believe they overturned that, against Barca!

That means we can draw them or Real/ Bayern who play tomorrow. I think we're getting Roma.

Next up Bournemouth at home, Saturday 14th April 17:30.

It feels like there shouldn't be anything more after that. That's it, football's done. I'm on too much of a high that I don't know where we could possibly go from there right now but the Premier League marches on and quick.

It's right back down to earth for the Hillsborough weekend.

Which has reminded me of the thing I was forgetting at the top. West Brom tried to apply for safe standing, the gov's said no which is very disappointing and backwards but they think we're hooligans and we need to sit down and preferably shut up so of course they rejected it despite it working well in other countries including Scotland.
