I've had a weekend of football and the one match I was waiting for went crap.

Cheered for Brighton's result against Man United, speaking of which I hope Alex Ferguson can recover, we've not seen the last of him yet!

Watched and sort of supported Chelsea in the women's FA cup yesterday because Fran Kirby and obviously excitement for women's football being on telly. Now I feel crap for it.

Heard Dad cheer West Brom scoring against Spurs and waited it out for the full time whistle.

Woke up way too early today and followed the last day of the Championship, ended up supporting Bolton staying up and they made it at Barnsley and Burton's expenses. Cardiff secured joining the PL. Ovie Ejaria scored for Sunderland, they smashed top of the league Wolves.

City couldn't score against Huddersfield, first team to stop them scoring at home.

Our match finally came and we got off to a good start. The commentators said the adrenaline was still pumping from the other day and I agreed so much. Salah was kept busy but Mane was free to do what he liked, apart from hit the back of the net.

After Giroud scored we might as well have gone in at half time and got off home because we were never ever going to score. Why do we always have a ton of crosses/ headers that don't become a goal at the end of these matches?

It's like we've really, really forgotten how to score in the Premier League lately but it's not mattered cos CL but now it does because we're putting qualification at risk. I really thought Salah was going to stand up against his old club and show them what he's become in person and beat that bloody PL record.

Next up Brighton at home, Sunday 13th May 2018, 15:00

We're taking it down to the last match again when it was meant to be a much more chill affair, ready for the big one.
