(They stopped Ronaldo scoring. I don't think I can seriously pick someone when the whole team kept their heads up after Salah going and after those three goals and have given me so many huge memories this season and will keep growing together. I'm a believer when it comes to these lads because of Klopp and everything he's given them)

I really REALLY thought this was going to be our time. Every last ritual and superstition and the stars were lining up once again so that this generation had their story, with the big one, the biggest.  From the team being white to a royal wedding, everything was lining up for us to be the ones to bring it home. We weren't there to make up the numbers and watch, we were there to fight and we stood up to them despite all the set backs, it just wasn't quite enough against the team who has everything.

All the travel nightmares Liverpool had and we're still the ones with the huge and loud crowd, we'd get to the moon. Real send 1000 tickets back, wtf?! Who's not wanting to go to a CL final, you privileged, ungrateful people, Liverpool were asking everyone, having to travel everywhere, having flights cancelled cos too many were going and also filled Anfield to watch it there too. 

We couldn't have started much better and for the first 20 or so minutes, we clearly needed to just get on and score. If only the keeper had his arm anywhere else for TAA's shot that he belted towards goal.

Ramos decided he was in wrestling and held Salah down, brought him down on his shoulder apparently dislocating it so he couldn't continue. Somehow that wasn't deemed to be a foul in any way. Literally every foul awarded to Real after that I'm like so that's a foul but this wasn't?!

I could honestly cry for him because it's so bad that he had to go especially because of Ramos doing it without any kind of punishment and obviously it's gonna effect the world cup too which isn't something Egypt is used to having. I really didn't want to have that moment as the picture but it needed to be shown, the commentators said it wasn't malicious or anything and was an accident, how is holding someone's arm so they can't get away and throwing them to the ground anyone's idea of an accident?!  

Half time and once again every time sky and all the media says there will be SO many goals and basically no defending, there's been no goals and Real kept us out.

Karius throwing the ball out. I can't believe that's a legitimate goal and it managed to creep in but at the same time if it was ours I'd love it to death. I knew he was going to end up conceding such a stupid goal like that one day and it just had to come right then didn't it?

We reacted well and ended up having Mane score from a corner, back in the game and our goal's finally come. We held our heads up ready to take them on again.

Then Bale scores a bicycle kick, Karius is nowhere near. No one would get to that.

Mane hit the post after that, so close to making it level again but not close enough.

The next one hit Karius's hands and still went in, I don't understand how that happened. Both of those mistakes made me think about Klopp saying the mistakes and not winning are on him, not the players but how can either of those be on Klopp?!

All the while Real are going down like they're made of paper getting free kicks and breaking up the game as much as they can and the ref's buying right into it.

Ronaldo's going at Karius and I'm begging please no cos I can take losing but not if it's including a goal from him, some randomer managed to run onto the pitch and almost got to him before the officials stopped him, talk about 12th man, thanks randomer. 3-1 and no goals from him doesn't sound or feel half as bad as 4-1 with a goal from him, unless the 4 is ours.

We defended amazingly, TAA, Robertson, VVD, Lovren, brilliant tackles throughout, can't fault them at all. TAA is 19. He did not look one bit like a youngster, Robbo, not a lad who was relegated last year, Lovren, not someone who goes "full Lovren", VVD, actually I don't know anything negative about him. Two teams who apparently can't defend and it came down to the keeper, Karius I just got my confidence in you but y'know what I'm in no mood to throw that away now. 

Same score as our last European final, completely different story right down to how I feel. I'm not entirely sure how I feel last time it was angry, upset, I wanted Moreno's blood or whatever. I've matured, I understand these players as people who feel it just as much as we do not that they're these players with money and nothing else. I'm upset for Salah getting injured. I'm upset that it came down to a goal like the first one and the third. And I'm pissed off at my dad cos he said Karius should be ashamed of himself and no one should go to him so I told him about Gerrard saying in his book about wanting to kill himself after Chelsea 13/14 and he just completely dismissed it. I'm ashamed of him for being able to throw people under the bus like that no matter how stupid of a mistake they've made and expect their team mates to do the same. 

Right at the start of the season and in the group stages I was joking about us focusing on winning it over all else. We got to the final and drew for most of it, which included scoring, so we got far closer to lifting big ears than I ever imagined we were going to do even after every step we progressed. I believed we could do it, we sung like we were at home in that stadium, but we're not quite there. So maybe we'll do it all again next season.

Well rushing back for the parade is no longer an issue, is it?

Next up the season review that I think I'm gonna write tomorrow.

I actually got affected by something Mourinho said in his FA Cup press conference that however that final went, it wasn't going to change assessing his season so I can't let it change assessing mine although I didn't agree all that much and it definitely does still matter to how the season is reviewed. Hey Mourinho United doesn't have the FA cup, Liverpool doesn't have the CL - Still a strange boast that was from him, I know which final I'd rather have and I just watched it.

It felt so weird when everyone else was doing season reviews and I'm like I can't, our season isn't over yet, well now it is, I wish it wasn't cos I just want to keep seeing these reds play.
