Our Ladies beat Watford 5-0 at home and the u18s lost 2-1 to Stoke.

I wish I'd spent more time on the Huddersfield post but I was so tired so sorry about that, I don't suit waking up in the morning at all.

MotM- Mohamed Salah

(TAA got a lot of praise as did Milner and Robertson so they should probably be in the running but come on two brilliant, should be game winning goals and all the running, has to go to our Egyptian King)

Scoring two minutes in is the best way to start. Dyer kicked the ball, (so no offside to call) Salah got there and slotted it across goal and into the net. I haven't celebrated that much in a while, high fived dad way too hard. We were so speedy and so on it I thought we were destined to get our revenge and wipe the floor with them.

And then Jon Moss decided that was too much of an advantage and gave every decision against us. We were still doing so well to control the game even with that hindrance.

We had so many so closes. VVD nearly scored two headers but not being anble to actually find the net another time in that time would hinder us.

And then the second half came. Spurs really took over and they really got closer to scoring but I was just getting smug that we were going to win a 1-niller. It was exciting to be winning but lack any kind of control of the game. The time was ticking on, we were making Spurs run out of time.

Karius punched the ball right out but it ended up at Wanyama's feet and Karius couldn't get back up and close to it in time. He absolutely smashed it into the net, it shot right back out. We didn't even see it go in it was so fast coming back out again. Dad asked me seeing Spurs players run and I went bu the score number changing, mad goal and yous know it's very rare for an opposition goal to impress me.

But Jon Moss. He gave Harry Kane a penalty. It was crap, it went straight to Karius. Which is the only thing it ever should've done because he was offside. It's like Kane knew he didn't deserve it.

It lifted us all so much that Salah went right back to the other end again and scored an incredible goal. His 21st in the PL. And with that we got the lead back. We really went for it cheering that one too like it was the winner and there was no time left, if only that were true. Klopp went on a massive run like he was Usain Bolt too.

Then the linesman decided he needed some attention and decided to insist VVD had caused a penalty. The ref completely waved it away, the match was going on and then we had to stop to watch them two argue and worse, the linesman having his say overrule the ref's. Kane took a proper penalty this time and scored it. I've since seen that piece should've been offside so we really should've won.

I was watching rugby earlier and was really dismissive of their VAR cos the ref just stopped the game to decide whether to give the try or to award the player a penalty, he's scored, just leave it, alright? Get on with the bloody game. I don't like rugby and those stops really don't help which is why I don't want it in football even if today it may have kept those penalties out of the game, I'd rather accept the scored one as a legitimate goal that loses us 2 points. At least they spotted Dele Ali's dive in real time, what a dive that was as well.

We were right to chant "Cheat, cheat!", there's no other word for it. I don't think I've heard boos coming from Liverpool fans like that before, awful ending atmosphere. Not quite the revenge we had in mind. Never mind eh? We're still in third and 2 points above Spurs.
