Dinner for Two ~Tao

“Malia!“ You whipped your head around when you heard his voice and sighed in relief. The fans around you had been either bombarding you with questions, staring at you, wanted your picture or shouted abuse; you were so glad he was back. You ran towards him and he scooped you up in his arms, burying his face in the crook of your neck. You heard fans aw in the background but you didn’t care. Tao was finally back from tour after 3 months.

“I’ve missed you so much, jagiya.” You whispered and felt him chuckle.

“I’ve got a surprise for you, baobei.” He stated and took your hand. You had to stay for a few signatures but then Tao pulled you off behind him, smiling you followed him. He led you to a small black car and ushered you in, while all the other boys got into the two white vans in front of you. They sent you sly grins and knowing chuckles and you couldn’t help but glare at them for being so damn childish, you could never hate them though and they knew that all too well. You sat down in the back and Tao quickly followed suit, plopping down next to you; the car started driving immediately and you turned to look at Tao.

“I missed you so much, baobei.” He whispered before his lips quickly descended on yours. You smiled and kissed him back.

“Tao-ssi? We have arrived.” The driver said after about twenty minutes; the two of you had been talking the whole time exchanging stories of what had happened since your last phone call. Tao had had some funny stories to tell and you were sure that you had been laughing the whole ride.

“Already? I hope they had enough time.” He mumbled.

“What was that?” You asked, but he only sent you a smile and got out of the car; reaching out to take his outstretched hand you frowned. He was hiding something, but then this was a surprise after all. You looked up at the tall building and realised that you were at the EXO dorms. Now you were definitely confused; why would he be taking you to the dorms? He grinned when he saw your puzzled expression and pulled you into the building. In the elevator he just hugged you from behind not doing or saying anything at all, but you treasured even the silence. It was so good to have im back. When the elevator doors opened Tao held his hands in front of your eyes and guided you out and into the dorms. You chuckled, but just followed his lead. Soon enough you could hear the other members and a delicious smell wafted in your direction. When Tao finally removed his hands, the dorms were dark, not one light was switched on; the only light source being candles that stood on the dining table. Tao pulled a chair out for you to sit down and then took a seat opposite you.

“What can I get you to drink?” A very deep voice rang next to your ear. You looked up and saw Chanyeol grinning at you.

“Just some water, please—Tao what—?”

“I’ll have some water too.” He quickly dismissed Chanyeol, who chuckled but left. “Baobei, this is for us. The members are just helping out.” He smiled and reached out across the table, covering your hand with his. You smiled at him when Chanyeol came in placing two glasses of water in front of you and Chen soon followed with a steaming plate of delicious looking food.

“D.O. agreed to cook for us.” Tao smiled. “Saranghaeyo, Malia.”
