Merry Krismas!

"Yah! Yah, she's coming!"

"I know you idiot. I heard the door!?"

"Shush guys. she'll know."

"Just..."

"What are we even doing?"

"I can't wait to see the smile on her face!"

"I can't wait to see the cake on her face."

"That makes no sense?! There isn't even any cake involved?!"

"Children, seriously now."

"She's on her way up; everyone shut up."

You made your way up the elevator to the EXO dorms, oblivious to this conversation, or rather playful bickering and fighting and general dorkness. They had invited you to come round for a little Christmas warmer and you had happily agreed since the twelve boys were some of your closest friends. Well technically your closest friend, since they were one and all that.
You chuckled inwardly at your own joke but kept your eyes on the floor count, the bright red numbers glaring and unforgiving. You sighed; it was your first Christmas away from home and you were quite saddened by the thought but you had awesome friends to make up for it and you had this feeling that EXO was gonna try and make it a great Christmas for you.
The elevator binged and the doors slid open revealing the white-washed door to the EXO dorms. It was completely silent which was unusual since they usually always made a ruckus whenever they were alone in the dorms.

"Guys? Guys, I'm here." You called as you knocked on the door repeatedly until finally it swung open. You peeked inside but the room was emtpy. Weird. You thought and stepped into the apartement closing the door behind you. Taking a few steps inside you could see a beautiful (but bare) Christmas tree and the big table was nicely set with Christmas decorations placed on top, but no food anywhere in sight. You frowned when you saw an envelope on the table, adressed to you.

Dearest Friend,

We know you miss your family and home and you have told us so much about them, we feel like we already know them all but most importantly we know how you celebrate Christmas It's Krismas for goodness' sake! (that was Kris' scrawly handwriting, correcting the author)
Fine, we know how you celebrate KRISmas and we wanted to at least try and make it as perfetc as your feasts at home.

You couldn't help but smile as you read the letter adn then the individual little notes each of the members had scribbled underneath and beside it. Suddenly you felt someone close to you and when you turned around you were greeted by the sight of the twelve most dorky and ridiculous boys on this planet, wrapped in tinsel and wrapping paper and baubles and boxes and pots full of food.

"We know it's not gonna be like home, but... Merry Christmas!" Suho said and all the others joined in; your smile threatened to split your face as you lit up in joy like the freaking star of bethlehem.

"I don't know what to say... Thank you." You whispered and gave them all hugs, before the thirteen of you started decorating the tree, making food and eating, unwrapping presents and enjoying each others company.

At the end of the night you didn't even notice you weren't with your family, because you had your own little set of loved ones around you and you couldn't be any happier.
